I have recently trialed several group fitness gyms in the area due to my gym closing. I have given 2 stars based on the fact that the workout was great but based on experience I can not recommend Sweat Shop.On arrival I had to flag down a trainer to introduce myself and say I was new…which is odd…for a gym.I then received a rough run down, advised it was a more ‘chill vibe today’ and was left to follow everyone else.Messy floor space, weights everywhere.I think the main thing for me is that you sign up for a 7 day trial and nobody contacts you? Or knows you are new?I just felt like there was serious lack of something.

State of the art gym that has both a traditional gym floor as well as fantastic and well thought out group training sessions, catering for all fitness levels. Having said all that, the distinguishing factor at this gym are the quality trainers who are always in a duo taking classes and motivating you throughout the class.

Awesome new space in a great location. The classes are excellent and offer a good variety of exercises and machine work. The trainers are all super welcoming and engaging and come around and correct form when needed.A pretty unique experience compared to other class style gyms that I’ve been do.Definitely recommend!

I live up in Sydney! Come down a fair bit and this is defs my go to.Plenty of space, equipment is brand spanking new, atheistic is slick and the staff are super friendly and accommodating.Will always drop in when I’m down in Melbourne!

Great gym with the awesome classes, top-shelf quality machines and a huge culture.The biggest stand out at the gym for me is the trainers and the staff!They are so friendly, helpful, passionate and really care about you as a client. Definitely recommend

Incredible gym. Amazing set up and facilities, equipment but by far the best part are the outstanding and dedicated trainers, particularly Cash and Maddy who go above and beyond to help you with anything you need, meet you where you’re at and help you reach your goals. Couldn’t recommend more. The best gym in town!

While I was impressed with how new and clean the gym was, I was not impressed with the customer etiquette with one of their manager, Max!I purchased a 7 day trial which was fine, but after being informed rudely (being shouted across the room, and treated like a kindergarten school kid) that it does not cover a gym workout, again in a rude, egotistical way, it could have been done in a more professional and welcoming way.If you want a prospective customer to purchase your membership, do so in a way without ego but that’s respectful, and welcoming.I certainly wouldn’t want to come back after that experience and I would not recommend this gym space to anyone after my experience.

Sweatshop really is the best gym. I can't recommend it enough! I train independently, but the trainers and admin staff are SO friendly and are always willing to help if I ask. They have every piece of equipment you would ever need, and the space is always clean! Such a great atmosphere! I am hooked!

Being someone who has tried them all, I can comfortably tell you and say that this place is special.The group classes are S&C based and suitable for individuals of all fitness levels. The utilisation of their 1 of a kind rigs is absolute genius.Outside of the group class setting this space also houses a very clean and well thought through commercial gym space with cutting edge machinery, pin loaded machines and free weights section.ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT HERE.

Awesome gym with brand new equipment. Great variety of plate loaded machines - they even have a pendulum squat which can be hard to find! Very friendly and experienced trainers who are always open to chat and provide tips/advice. Also has very cool fit out!
