I had always felt too self-conscious about my voice to ever consider making time for singing lessons. Yet was led to lessons with Adrian Price, to work on improving confidence and especially to sing on my own, not just in a group. I’ve discovered that learning good technique is important, however there is so much more than being able to sing well or have a great voice. Adrian has a teaching gift for helping to heal the limitations of the voice and for over a year now, I have consistently continued with lessons, mostly on a fortnightly basis. For the times when I practice less, including from any fear of not reaching a note, or being able to meet the emotional essence of a song, Adrian allows a deeply kind and compassionate space of non-judgment.I am very grateful for these supportive lessons, in discovering a new joy and acceptance in my voice.
