Had an awesome lunch here. Korean chicken was great. The chicken burger was awesome and wifey loved her fish tacos.

The crispy chicken burger was absolutely delicious! Lovely view over Home Beach sitting at the window. Great Straddie Brewing Co beer. Will definitely be back.

Great vibe looking over the beach as the sun goes down. Good quality chicken and cold beer. That’s it - simple - delivers on the promise. On our last visit the staff were under the pump due to COVID absences and lack of worker accom on the island, so if you have to wait a bit have an extra beer and chill.

Called in here with the family after a morning on Cylinder beach.Fabulous chicken meal and a couple of fish platters.All cooked fresh and tasted gorgeous.Good value for money and a nice friendly atmosphere.The place is spotless and clean.The staff member was on her own, she took our orders, cooked the food and brought it to the table.We had a great time, highly recommended.

I've been here several times over the years. The staff are always friendly and the service is efficient. Vibe is very relaxed and the chicken home style recipe is delicious.

The local craft beers in cans are amazing. The chicken tasted good and came relatively quickly. But this is a business in trouble (and it’s for sale too, btw). There are NO beers on tap. There is a PRINTED MENU that says they sell Yenda (a personal fave), but they no longer supply it - the menu’s printed on plain paper, so please make some more, or at least put a notice out front saying not all beers advertised are available. Unfortunately, this was compounded by a waiter who actually took my order for a Yenda, let me pay for it, and then went to the fridge and got out something completely different, all on account of his English, I suppose.Other things that would help are putting the tables beside the windows (clear view through headland paperbarks to ocean), and including sauces with chicken orders, perhaps a little garnish or salad or something so improve presentation too.

This hidden gem has great views to the beach and a nice bar and restaurant. We had the chicken tacos and cheeseburger which was very tasty! Staff is also lovely

Very good food but extremely long wait. It took 1 hour and 15 minutes for just some burgers. The lack of communication was disappointing, nobody told us they were busy or to expect a long wait. When we started asking about our food (after 45 minutes) they said it was going to be “a few more minutes”, which ended up being another 30 minutes. We got a plate of complementary fries but we would have preferred to come back for our food later or have food somewhere else if we would have known about the wait beforehand.

We ordered the chicken burger and the chicken was big and crispy. Staff was absolutely friendly so that we could enjoy spending time there. Also if you are lucky, you can meet the kookaburra and touch him! That was a lovely experience.

The first thing i noticed was the lack of masks, none of the staff wore them and they didn't make people waiting for takeaway wear them either, a clear violation of the law during increasing omicron covid cases. The ordering system was confusing and contradicted the way set by the menu. The menu lacked most drink choices, although a small issue compared to other concerns.The food took ages to arrive, the chicken was dry and overcooked, the boneless chicken was filled with bones, the burger bun was dry and cakey; maybe toasting it would save it a little.As well as the service and food, the tables were sticky and in dire need of redoing. The music was loud and overbearing with an interesting choice of radio station containing many distracting ads.Overall this is one of the most disappointing restaurants I have visited in my life, after half eating my burger I feel sick hours later. The only saving grace was the hot chips were of good quality. Will not be going again and do not recommend.
