Bigger than expected. Cool little operatorsselling all sorts of handicrafts and great food and coffee vendors.

This has to be one of the best markets in Victoria for a number of reasons. It has certainly changed over the years with being relocated for a few years then back to the Yarra Glen Racecourse.Here you will find so many handmade, homemade items that are of high quality.So let's start at the beginning. Parking is best within the car parking area of the racecourse. Today it cost me $4 which I think is a little steep even though I know it goes to charity. It's a short walk from there to the entrance.The layout of the market is well designed that you can go down one aisle and up another. Most stalls are under canopies.Can't speak highly enough of the wares for sale. The owners are genuine artisans and what they have on offer is not often seen at other markets. They love what they do and market and always worth supporting something local than from a department store.Toilets are easily located. Green areas for kids to play including a fabulous playground.There is a large pavilion where some stall holders have their stalls out of the sun. Here on the north and south side area places to eat, sit under large trees and eat on some of the many takeaway food stalls. Whether its' gozleme, burgers, vegetarians catered for, fresh lemonade - there is something for everyone.Note that dogs are now allowed at this market. The market closes at 1pm.The entire market is wheelchair friendly. Easy for a stroller. Great for kids. Good parking.

What a fantastic market to explore in the Yarra Valley.$5 to park in carpark, or park outside and walk across. Free entry to markets. Great open space, easy paths to walk on & sheltered areas. The live music was excellent too.I loved all the variety of wares , local food & beverages to browse. Meeting & chatting to some farmers was great too.I saw no local vegetables/fruit to buy. But I was told over 30 stall holders had pulled out due to bad weather, so I'll have to go back to see it full.

I love the market so much. Lots of vendors here, they sell craft, food, plants or something handmade.

Well worth the $5 parking fee. Good size craft market with entertainment & curiosities.

Reasonable size market (150+ stalls, 20+ food places). Many hand crafted goods from wooden and recycled metal through to jewelry and soaps. Many were locals with a few someone from various locations across Melbourne. A beautiful Sunday morning event. $4 parking (so have coins at the ready).

A sprawling market filled with hand crafted goodies for the kitchen , garden and that someone special. Loads of yummy food too, to sustain you as you explore the market.

I visited the Yarra Glen Craft Market recently and found it to be a good sized market with plenty of craft stalls. However, I was disappointed to notice a lack of variety compared to what was previously available. While there were many craft stalls, I found that most of them were selling similar products which made the market feel a bit repetitive.Unfortunately, there was also a lack of gourmet and artisan food stalls which I had enjoyed during my last visit. I was hoping to find unique food products, but I struggled to find the popular stalls that were once staples.Overall, the Yarra Glen Craft Market is a great market to visit, but it's not as good as it used to be. I hope that in the future, there will be more variety and unique offerings to make the market more special.

Enjoyable market experience. Friendly, welcoming people all the way from the parking fee collector to the many stall holders. Wide variety of hand made goods and foods on offer. Fun way to window shop" in the open air."

Recent trips to Yarra Glen market have been disappointing. A lot fewer traders and shoppers, due to greedy price hikes by new operators.Sadly ruining a wonderful market
