Busy Bees at Amaroo

My son is a bit of a pain in the arse at times and the staff have been incredibly patient with him while he's been going through this stage (that alone gets them 5). The educators I have talked with have always been friendly and the facilities always clean and well kept. Kids always seem to look happy and the outside play area is great.

Words can not express how much my daughter and I love this centre, especially the incredible educators.I am someone who was very strict when looking for a daycare centre, even if it was something small like dust on the windows that was a deal breaker for me. But busy bees (nido at the time) was the only centre where it was clean, great indoor and outdoor, and all the children in all the rooms we were shown were so happy.My daughter would run up and Hug her educators, I was chopped liver!They were so flexible too, if we needed a casual day they could fit us in with no issues.The only reason why we are leaving is because we are moving, or we would be staying there until school started.They are all incredible, loving, and caring, and your child will be loved and my daughter has learnt so much from them. We were blown away.We will miss you all and thank you so much for taking care of our girl

Under new management and Seriously amazing - I had a rather upsetting few months when my son started.... I had nothing but complaints about my son and his behaviour which was heartbreaking. He is quite challenging and difficult at times, he was only 3 so I had hoped for some patience while he settled in but with constant staff change he found it difficult to form a bond with in and out staff.I have found with the new management and more permanent staff he is settling more and forming those essential bonds with staff.A massive thank you to Carmen, Chelsea and the permanent staff in his room for there ongoing intensive and constant hard work with my little man who seems to be a lot more settled. They have formed such a special bond with my little guy and he finally doesn’t have to be ripped from me when I drop him off.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

My son has recently returned to the centre and we cannot fault the service or educators. He has a great time throughout the day, absolutely loving the outdoor areas. Management has been amazing and extremely welcoming, ready to assist whenever needed.

Nido Amaroo is the best place in Canberra. My son has previously attended other daycares in Canberra which were not up to Nido’s high standard. The centre is spacious and one if the main attractions are the outdoor areas, full of natural plants and exciting objects for the little stars to interact with. I can drop him off in the morning and walk away knowing he will be loved and cared for there by the beautiful staff.

It all went downhill ever since they changed management. Almost all great educators left. New ones came from planet mars, cant even say good morning or hello. People from the admin dont have a clue on what they’re doing. Giving us wrong information about our account. We had to figure out things by ourselves. Our statement of account keeps on rising up and up - their fault. ccs not being applied correctly, and they dont have a shame to email us new invoice every two days with incorrect amounts. They kept saying they will fix the issue but until now they cant.Not recommended

The worst day care that I have seen so far, absolutely not professional and least communicative with parents, educators are least bothered to say how the kids day was, but they will make sure they complain about the kid everytime and anytime we ask about the progession of the kid. they would expect a toddler to be professional and well behaved. I wouldnt recommend at all it gave me a lot of stress, I have let the management know but they are least bothered, never replies to emails or available in the reception or calls.

We have been going to this daycare for almost 2 years and it has been a wonderful experience. The staff are friendly and helpful. My son has loved everyone of the educators he has been with. He has learned so much and have made fabulous friends. Its a wonderful daycare and I would definitely recommend it to others.

Teachers have always smile on their face even if it’s busy there. They welcome every child with a smile so that mood of kid become very good and they enjoy to stay there and parents always wants their kid spent their day in such a good atmosphere. Everyday my child learn new thing and he do same thing at home it’s very impressive They give a good knowledge to kids. And this is the time kids grab everything so if they grab this type of knowledge I hope they can grow with a amazing talentThank you all
