Great experience! I had just left Medicare Greensborough as they refused to help me with my international vaccine certificate.Once I got to Medicare Heidelberg, I was greeted by a lovely lady. I was then assisted by Christine who was an absolute gem! Kept apologising for having to keep me waiting but I didn't mind at all! The entire team greeted everyone there so politely and with grace. A+ team. Complete opposite to my previous experience at Greensborough. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! I'm so so grateful for the impeccable customer service.

It really just depends on who you deal with. Some understand the concept of customer service while others have no idea.

Disappointing experience!!Yesterday I took time off from work to submit just 2 pieces of documents ( total 3 pages) which had to be scanned and attached to my account and also to be acknowledged as sighted by the staff at the Centrelink Office on Yarra St Heidelberg 3084 for lodging Assurance of Support.I reached the office at 3.58 pm, the lady at the reception on the extreme right first refused to accept it as 2 more customers were waiting, then I explained to her it is just sighting of documents, as requested on Centrelink's written correspondence to me. She approached a lady who was sitting idly behind a counter on to the right behind the receptionist, she refused to do it. Then the receptionist asks me to come the next day. I was appalled by the callous attitude and response of our public servants. Then I explained to her that I have taken time off from work, so the receptionist agreed to scan it and told me a blatant lie that the scanned document has been attached to my record and it will take some time for it to appear against my name. The returned document was stamped as 'sighted' without initialing or putting a date on it. I went home and checked online, documents still didn't appear against my record. How has the department hired such irresponsible staff who believe in closing the shop at 4 pm when it is open till 4.30 pm?? Are they allowed to refuse customers from 4 pm onward??

Waste of time. I was dropping off a form for a family member, after providing them ID, they wouldn’t accept the form due to COVID . What a joke, they should have told me first!

Not everyone has a computer so bad they are also Rude

Very rude and unhelpful, unwilling to do their job and bordering on aggressive as it was close to closing time and we didn’t have an an appointment.They don’t want customers in there.

Was there twice and was treated like garbage. Attempted to call main number as it was the first time without work after twenty two years of full time work. The person would not help. It took another to pull me up and help out and explain who the system works. The interviewer did not care what l was asking and how to move forward.

Best Centrelink and Medicare office. For the exact same thing, If you go to Boxhill, then you might be doomed instead. The staff here are so friendly and they really CARE about you. They have gone over and beyond what their normal duties are, to really help you with your needs! This can not be expected by any Government agencies these days.
