This Motel is absolutely lovely very spacious room and SPOTLESSLY CLEAN.It also has double glazed windows to keep the traffic noise out making it very quietVery reasonably priced compared to other Motels.Our host's were Mother and Son who were very welcoming and could not do enough for us.The icing on the cake was theBreakfast which was cooked for us by our hosts beautifulCroissants with Ham & Cheese but the best part was Yoghurt Parfait with Sour Cherries so so yummy served with a special touch of Easter Chocolates.We will definitely be coming back here to stay.

Extremely clean, the double glazed windows are amazing for getting a good night sleep despite its handy location on the highway it's incredibly quiet!! Friendly and welcoming hosts (chocolates on arrival are always gratefully received!) and an extremely comfortable bed. Very very happy to find this level of accommodation in Ararat! Will be staying here again on my next trip, very pleasantly surprised!

I would recommend staying at ASC. When we walked in, it was...WOW very nice. Very tidy, clean and light. The shower was great, and quite large. The bed was very comfortable, it could have been our own, big TV. The only thing we didn't like, we could hear the trucks as they went past. We weren't facing the main road but could still hear them. Staff, very friendly and pleasant. Apart from the trucks, everything to us was great, a very pleasant stay. We would stay there again.

Best helpful friendly service ever!!! Looked after my confused aunt visiting for my Dad's funeral. Helped us with everything for her care, including letting us know if she wandered off & making sure she was fed & comfortable. Food fabulous. Went way beyond helpful assistance compared with any motel l know. Room beautiful. Thank yoooou sooo much

Overnight stay travelling through to Melbourne. Greeted by friendly owners. Clean modern rooms. Stayed in room on main road which had quadruple window glazing and didn’t hear any traffic notices. Other places could learn from this. Heater was very quiet. Just around the corner from all the eateries on Barkly St.We will stay here again.

Ararat Southern Cross Motor Inn
Arrived on a wet cold day to a very warm reception.The room was large and comfortable. The location is good and was easy to find.Car parks are large, and there is plenty of space between cars to get all your gear out.Overall, it was a good stay and I would use them again if staying in Ararat.

Staff were great when we arrived a little early for check in. It was close to town and given it's location it was quiet which suited us.Our room was very spacious and roomy, it was clean and fresh, even the beds were comfy which is unusal.

Loved staying here. Very friendly and genuinely proud staff (they said they were the best in area, and I agree). Clean room and good bathroom, comfortable bed, quiet at night (even being near main road). Felt very comfortable here and will definitely be back!

We stayed one night at the Ararat Southern Cross Motor Inn - the beds are comfy, the rooms are clean and the hosts are very friendly.Despite being adjacent to the main highway we weren't disturbed by noise at all which shows care was taken in building the place.
