Mill Street Studios

Called and left messages 3 times to inquire about classes for granddaughter, no one could be bothered getting back to me. They obviously don’t need the students.

This studio is a great place for students to learn dance, learn about the industry and feel like a part of a larger family. So many of the students that have come from this studio have gone into full time study in tertiary institutes and gaining jobs in the industry. Claire Marshall is a true professional.

This is a beautiful place, that inspires & encourages the budding dancer and brings the dance & talent to life through all stages of creativity

My daughters have been students at this studio since it started, and were previously students of Claire Marshall. As they start their adult careers, I cannot express enough my appreciation of Claire's influence on their skills and their attitude to life. Claire is one of the most hardworking people I have ever met, and she balances her professional standards with making time to offer personal support and coaching. She aims to create a true community where all can find their place - students, family members, teachers, and guest instructors all members of that community.

The director of Mill Street Studios, Claire Marshall is the most horrible, vindictive, cruel, unprofessional person that I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with.Not only is she abusive to the paying parents of her dance studio but she has even gone as far as refusing to supply end of year concert DVD footage to the parents whom have PAID for said DVD simply because they did not enrol in her dance studio.I cannot see where 3 years of numerous fundraising events have gone back to benefiting the younger students.Multiple classes are solely taught by other teenagers without adult supervision.Costumes are severely overpriced and parents are treated like 2nd rate citizens and not paying customers (unless of course you serve a purpose towards Claire and as soon as you do not... queue the abuse!)Although the teachers themselves are lovely people, they are just puppets in her sick twisted game.I shudder at the thought of the amount of money I have put towards this woman's back pocket and I cannot scream any louder DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN TO THIS DANCE STUDIO""

Brilliant Dance Studio, with wonderful staff and a director that takes time to teach the kids and provide direction to all of her charges. A friendly group of people, perfect place to send you kids to learn to dance regardless of their age.. Be warned of fake negative reviews left by petty parents who feel slighted due to their kids lack of talent.

I am so glad we made the move to Mill Street Studios a couple of years ago! As a former school teacher and educator, I am really impressed with the professionalism of this studio. Claire Marshall and her team of professional teachers work tirelessly to provide a supportive environment for students to learn. They encourage their students to perform to a high standard through guided skill development and encouragement. They really care about their students. The concerts and showings are amazing, keeping the audience enthralled and excited about each new performance. The tuition costs are very reasonable and costuming costs for performance pieces are kept as low as possible. The guest choreographers and Claire herself all work professionally in the dance industry so Mill Street is right up with the latest in dance and choreographic techniques. Our young people are so fortunate to have the opportunities this provides. Several students have gone on to university in the dance and associated creative arts fields. My daughter is one of them. Love and highly recommend Mill Street!!!

My favourite place on this planet. Claire Marshall is a true professional. I am constantly inspired every time I step through the doors and feel the energy bouncing around the room. The support and encouragement from the teachers is astonishing and has given me the confidence to grow and has shaped me into the dancer I am today. I have made friends and memories that will last a lifetime. Mill Street is filled with the loveliest crew of staff, families and students that will make you feel so welcome. I could not recommend this dance studio enough.

This is the most professionally run studio I have ever set foot into. Claire Marshall has put together an amazing team of teaching staff who are dedicated to their students and only wish to get the best out of all of them. Mill Street is a caring and nurturing environment where dancers young and old are encouraged to grow and better themselves through their time there. Claire's artistic vision is incredible and passes along her many years of knowledge experience in the dance industry to all of her dancers. Mill Street lays a strong foundation for younger dancers and continues to expand the knowledge of older students through many different opportunities. Many of whom have gone onto further their dance career at highly renowned dance institutes such as ED5, ADPI and QUT. The studios are beautifully kept providing a quality space for including a kitchen and some air conditioned spaces for hot days. I cannot recommend this studio enough.

Mill street studios, would have to be the most dedicated dance studio I have come across. They have extremely talented teachers who genuinely care for the students.I highly recommend them!!
