I went in and saw Jimmy. I told him what I needed but at the time he didn't have the part. He was very helpful and said he would try and source it for me. The next day, he rang me to tell me he had found what I needed. Excellent service and friendly staff. I highly recommend them.

Had one of their bogan delivery drivers pull up alongside me on east link and throw something out the window at my car all because I was doing the speed limit. He then proceeded to cut in front of me and slam the brakes on (the brake lights on his ute didn’t even work) which almost resulted in a serious accident. I then called the number on the back of his ute to which I was told a lie that none of his drivers are on the road at the moment. Dash cam footage has been sent to the police.

Came in awhile ago looking for a simple lock-nut just to see if i may be able to find the right one, The old rude owner said they have none and told me to go away, I then asked if i could just have a look, he then threatened me and got up out of his chair as if he was going to fight me. Lucky for him I was with a friend who made me walk away. Seriously avoid this place. AT ALL COST'S. DO NOT GO HERE! 0 STARS! arrogant,rude, aggressive. Good way to run a business in 1970. but not 2019. I hope your business shuts down very soon. or the next time you get up to threaten someone they might not be a nice as me and actually give you what you deserve...A good Attitude adjustment.

Great service and good quality secondhand parts. I have used Dandenong Car Wreckers several times and have always found the staff to be very helpful. Even if they don't have it, they will go out of their way to find it for you. Thanks Jimmy and the DCW team.

This is a review for all future reviewers. I have dealt with these guys along with around 20 other wreckers maybe more in Melbourne. I see the guys at Dandenong Car Wreckers serving people. Serving people that haven't picked up a tool in their life, serving people that look down on them because they work or run a wrecking yard. Have absolutely no idea at all what the cars cost to buy and when these guys don't bend over and kiss their behind they jump on google and give these guys bad reviews. To the genius that gave 1 star because of these guys not wanting to break up a set of wheels. Did you ask yourself why? Its because after serving countless people just like you who have demanded the parts for nothing there is a set of wheels left which you want one from meaning the other 3 basically are basically useless. So to all future reviewers before you give these guys a hard time and a negative review remember they are out there working very hard for a living supporting their families and their employees families legitimately so unless you have seriously been offended have a good think about it. Some of these reviews make me cringe anyway to all the 1 star reviewers with any luck you will get hit by a bus tomorrow and peace and order will be restored. It is the same at every yard I was just in here last week and have now read these reviews crazy what they have to put up with. To the guys at Dandenong Car Wreckers don't even bother reading the 1 star reviews you have never done anything wrong by me always happy with the parts keep up the good work... Just ban the public and sell to us work shops.

Fantastic place huge stock very organised good service and very very excellent price you can save lots of money compared to other wrecking yards. You're basically walking on concrete roads most of the wrecking yards do not have such good set up thank you guys for your service

Bought a new radiator from these guys, turned out to be faulty so took it back same day, they replaced it same day so hassle. Great customer service. Treat them with respect and they'll do the same too you.

Bad, rude and mean manners. Keep yourselves away from these guys if you want to stay away from trouble!!!Bought a second hand coil or ignition pack. Was faulty and wasn't working at all. Was exvhanged for another faulty one. I had to spend extra $$$ and time to diagnose that the ciol pack was faulty. Took it back and the skinny guy who I am sure was the owner and the one who sold it to me was really rude and mean to accept that he sold me a faulty unit. I showed him the fault report I had obtained from the mechanic and demanded a full refund. Being reluctant and mean he refunded my money and rudely expressed that I shouldn't come back to his Shop.Mate (the owner) if you are reading my review, please learn some manners before you do any customer Service. You haven't just lost one CUSTOMER but perhaps dozens of others who would read this review. I could have been rude to you too but didn't want to waste my breath and energy on you but decided to return the favour by writing this review.Guys just wanna emphasise once again keep yourselves miles away from this place!!!!!!

Today I picked up some rims and tires for my trailer. I rang up and told them what I wanted but I was not expecting them to have them in stock because everywhere else I've called said they didn't have them and that I probably wouldn't be able to find them (weird size rim and tire profile). Fortunately they did. I didn't think they would so I brought the hub in to double check and it fit like a glove. It was good to know the young bloke on the phone knew exactly what he was talking about. The older gentleman gave helpful advice regarding fitting the hubs which helped and saved me some time. I picked up the tires and rims. The guy wouldn't haggle but the price was cheaper than I had expected so I guess I am very happy with that. The rims are in great nick and the tires have plenty of meat on 'em. Thanks guys, good to know there's good help and service out in the suburbs

Really amazing service. James sorted out my delivery in no time with all the parts I needed. He even threw in an extra piece I needed free of charge. They delivered to the complete other side of melbourne for only $10 extra and kept me updated on the progress of the delivery.Thanks heaps!
