I recently visited this restaurant for a farewell dinner.The games, dancing and bull was the best part, very enjoyable.However the value of money is ridiculous, $60.00 per person for average cooked meals and very standard meals at that. By the time dessert was ready we had spent 2 hours there and were leaving.So in total we spent $120.00 PLUS drinks. Not impressed considering we can spend the same amount at a 4 star restaurant in Newcastle that includes all drinks and great food.Will attend again but only if it is for a special event eg, birthday etc.

Complete rip off! At $60 a head you would expect some decent food and decent portions with an up to date venue! People, don't waste your money if your going out there for dinner, you will only walk out disappointed with the quality of food, venue and facilities. I think Battui Barn needs to really listen to what their customers want and rethink the way they conduct their business!

Lots of fun, they do a buffet so to make sure that you're getting enough to eat, awesome live music, there's a bar that does take eftpos. A gem of a place. Will go again

Great food, wonderfull roast with all the trimmings. We went with a tour bus of 50 people, 2 hours away from home. So as a large group it was ok. The SHED was dingy & dark. It needed an upgrade in the toilets. The staff were bossy & looked rushed & overwhelmed. Would NOT go again. You need a GPS to find this barn.

Went there with the work team, had good old fashioned country cooking, a super fun night and even had a turn riding the bull. Drinks were really cheap and everyone seemed to be really engaged and have a great night. Definately will do it again.

I was a guest at wedding held at Buttai Barn.outdoor ceremony.indoor reception. Catering was exceptional.plenty staff on hand with friendly service and wide range of wine beer spirits on hand.

Great night, food was good, lots of fun for the whole family, riding Elvis the bull was great entertainment and lots of laughs. If I could say though, was very disappointed there was very little bush dancing (2 dances) . Went to Buttai 26 years ago and that was the highlightof the night, the bush dancing.

Love a good country fun night out and Buttai Barn is an absolute favourite. Loved the food, fun and games and the staff were really lovely. Would happily visit again with friends and family.

My husband and I got married here on the 10th of November this year, it was the most amazing experience, the staff at buttai barn went above and beyond for my husband and myself. The guest raved about how good the reception was with amazing quality food and drinks. I wouldn't have changed a thing. 110% Recommend buttai barn.
