17 North Street Budget Accommodation

I have spent a couple of nights in this wonderful establishment, which was clean, modern and had beautiful interior. Michael gave us a warm welcome and a quick tour through the building so we could find everything. The bathrooms were always very clean and the showers had warm water. The kitchen offered everything you could possibly need to create any kind of dish, for free. There were clean fridges, as well as a communal fridge with free food. The BBQ area outside had a grill, garden beds as well as nice wooden benches and tables, and an area to prepare coffee and tea.To sum it all up, I had a wonderful experience, it was one of the best accommodations I've stayed in so far, quite more affordable than any hostel, hotel, etc., and I will definitely be back

Amazing location close to everything shops , beaches. Rooms and facilities are clean. The most important is the best reception guy I ever met. We had some problems with booking through wot.if and he fixed everything for us. Absolutely great place to stay!

One night stay but highly recommend, Michael was brilliant gave me a tour of the place straight away. Bbq and kitchen available which you don't see in most places, rooms were clean and comfortable. Definitely will be back

My partner and were very happy with our stay!It’s in a great location so close to everything. The shops, beaches and in to town. Rooms and facilities are very clean neat and tidy. The owner Michael was very welcoming and ensured we enjoyed our time over our whole holiday, someone that we will never forget! Absolutely great place to stay and we will be back.

I seldom leave reviews, especially bad ones but this time it feels warranted although the rooms are tidy enough, the kitchen offers some free food like pasta, rice, eggs, milk, cereal, some veg and herbs for cooking which was cool. Sadly the perks in every way were ruined by the owner, I don't think I have ever been treated so rudely or in fact aggressively in any place I have stayed not just in Australia but anywhere. I'm truly glad my girlfriend wasn't with me as I know she would not have felt comfortable to stay and we would have had to leave. I'm so glad I only booked one night. I certainly didn't pay to have someone curse and speak to me in an angry manner. The kitchen closes at 9.30. Not realizing the time, I was out of the kitchen by roughly 9.25 and thought I had cleaned everything but forgot to put the pasta strainer away, when the owner saw it he started swearing and accusing in a tone that was one step away from shouting, all the while looking at me eating my dinner, so I asked what had been left out but he wouldn't say and continued his rant now directly at me, leaving the kitchen and walking over to where I was sitting, we had a heated exchange. He was rude and swore through its entirety. Eventually he left me to eat but continued to huff around the place. Later on as the kitchen was closed when he walked passed I asked what to do with my plate not wanting to be berated again, when I did he brought me into the kitchen and pointed out the pasta strainer, my bad didn't realize. He didn't let me put it away and again said his piece. It was clean just not put away. His reaction to my mind was borderline crazy. I had even wiped down the counters and cooker, cleaning not only mine but others mess, which made it even more insulting that I was being treated this way. He even finished the exchange as he walked away by asking when I was checking out, I said tomorrow his response was good". Yes

In a World where nothing is granted, I was so glade to choose this spot to spend my night in Sunshine Coast on my road trip.The owner was absolutely so kind, the cleanest hotel I’ve ever been, I rent for Free a surf board for an amazing beach afternoon, and I slept so good in my private room, at the almost same price as a 8 bedroom backpackers hostel.Thank you so much for the passion you put in what you do!Andrea.

Great stay at 17 North Accommodation. Even though it was a short overnight stay, I received great customer service from the owner Michael who was able to given me a general tour of the Accommodation, the facilities on offer and the complimentary fresh veggies, eggs, milk, spreads, sauces condiments galore which is really helpful when you don't have to purchase everyday basic for a short stay cause it's all here.The place is kept clean and tidy, the room was comfortable with a mini fridge, TV and side standing storage unit.Thank you Michael and his team, I truely appreciate the time and effort put into this Accommodation.

This motel is five stars in every way. Michael who owns this motel puts his heart and soul into ensuring that everyone is treated to very best. In all my dealings with him he was absolutely incredible. I would absolutely recommend him to everyone and recommend this motel.

Currently sat in Nomads Hostel realising how great 17 North Street was to us. From everything from the great private rooms, Michal the host was amazing to us giving us so much Information about where to go and what to see and always willing to go above and beyond for us. An amazing touch was also the great kitchen facility’s including a BBQ and the fully stocked fridges and pantry which we loved. Thanks again for the stay
