The Patch | The Patch, Tomakin is a showcase of the abundance of fresh produce from across the region and includes a fresh modern contemporary and casual indoor-outdoor bar and eatery. A truly unique feeling of being on a beach side holiday on the NSW South Coast, in a beautiful, natural coastal setting. Such a treat. On arrival we were greeted with friendly staff. We had already missed out on another venue as the area closes early (730pm) so we rocked up ready to order. Menus and drinks list were presented without hurry even though the restaurant would be closing soon.We ordered several dishes and the waiter was great, well versed on what he had tried, and as it's a new place upfront about what he hadn't. We ordered some wine and cocktails to start, which were exceptionally well balanced. We then shared a mix of entrees, mains and dessert. Meals were excellent. Fresh and well prepared. This place punches well above its weight. A real asset to the area and guaranteed to become a destination venue on the well worn South Coast trail. Well done.

We had a delicious lunch here last Saturday. The food is always impressive and the staff helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. We were well looked after. It's a very relaxing space and and the rest rooms are the prettiest on the South Coast.

We had the privilege of visiting this exceptional club today and from the greeting at reception to the extraordinary lunch meals, (many compliments to the chef), to the pleasant friendly attitude of all the staff, Brooke in particular, what a wonderful experience we had. Compliments to the board.

We often come here when down at our coast house but yesterday's experience was varsely different to our usual.We ordered two seafood baskets, using their online ordering system, which in itself needs a major upgrade on the user face, crashing all the time, and not loading all items available, but instead loading items that aren't available. Shortly after placing our order a waitress came to our table to tell us they don't do the seafood basket anymore, and said we will have to change our order. No apologies or mention of refund on cost different, we ordered two pizzas instead (which weren't on the menu) when we asked if they do pizza she mentioned they do one type being a calbrese pizza, we were surprised and asked her if that is it? In which she then listed the other pizzas. Our sons meal came out about ten mins after our meals so he wasn't interested in eating it by the time it arrived. I then called the club after checking our account was not refunded the difference and was told the duty manager was busy but would call me back, that was yesterday, still no phone call.I think perhaps next time we will be ordering from the main club, rather than from the patch, nothing beats decently priced pub food, over what is essentially overpriced gastro pub food. All in all we spent $110 for lunch for 2 adults, 1 teenager, and 1 toddler. I understand inflation but thus being why i would have expected atleast a call back RE refund.

I was super impressed (and a bit surprised being a sports club) by the dinner we had at The Patch. It was a Friday night and service was good and speedy. The food was delicious, and honestly you would expect to pay a bit more for that quality of the food in a city or major tourist hub.

Many of the items on the menu were not available. Waited an hour and a half for the meals to be served. The meals were very average - the result of a clearly understaffed kitchen trying to get meals out as quickly as they could. Expensive and definitely not worth it. Don't waste your time or money.

Expensive meals for a poor pub feed. Renovations are lovely but that's about it. Chips were undercooked and had to ask where the kids meal was- it had been forgotten about. Drinks went to another table before making it to us. Overall, disappointing experience for what used to be a nice place to eat.

Extremely disappointing. Arrived 530pm on a Sunday evening, and meals took an hour and a half to arrive- which was very stressful with tired hungry kids. Multiple menu items were unavailable, and the restaurant seemed understaffed. Tried to pre-order dessert before the main meals arrived to avoid any further delays, and were told it could be another hour or more wait for dessert. Multiple tables that ordered after us had their meals arrive before ours. Staff could not give a clear update as to where our meals were up to. Bar staff did not know how to make the gin balloon cocktails, and did not include the garnishes listed on the menu or shown on the social media pages. Had to ask multiple times for the ice cream accompanying the kids meals. The concept is great, the menus are impressive, and the food is delicious, but the application, service and communication are not up to scratch, particularly when the target market is families, and the price point for food and drinks is restaurant level. Will be very reluctant to dine here again.

There were 8 of us and we all enjoyed our meals. I had the fish of the day and it was so fresh and the flavour was amazing. The chips as a side were cooked perfectly and not too salty. All the meals arrived quickly and the staff and atmosphere was great. Definitely worth visiting again.

The meals were very good & quite big, my wife & I probably could,ve shared 1 meal.The starter was delicious, dessert a little slow in coming out but was worth the wait.Staff were friendly, happy & obliging. Would not hesitate in coming back.
