Visited on the 6th of February this year. Absolutely loved the place. Staff were very knowledgeable and even aided us with seeking a welder to repair an issue on our van. Barb, Bob and Helen are worth their weight in gold there. The museum was cheap and packed full of great articles and exhibits. Highly recommended for families and couples travelling there!

Lots of fascinating antiques from past locals including hairbrushes, wedding dresses, cameras and even royal family memorabilia. Plus a video to watch. John was very helpful, thanks John

For small towns this is one of the best museums to visit. All the displays are in mint condition and well preserved. The information given by the man (tour guide)was quite interesting.

What a fantastic museum with so much to see. We didn't know that the Stump Jump Plough was invented and manufactured in Ardrossan. If you're also into ship wrecks, there is a great display and history around the Zanoni wreck. Congratulations to all the work put into this museum and the informative volunteers that were they on Saturday the 18th of March.

The lady that works there was so warm and welcoming to myself and my family when we arrived, gave us so much information and was extremely helpful. Very educated and so lovely! We definitely were 100% happy with the service she provided. Thankyou!

Unable to look at own pace as the guide rattled off information and then hunted you out and locked the doors .

An interesting place to spend an hour or so. Lots of old machinery, history of the jump plough famous for the area. But there’s something for everyone from old household items, radio’s cameras, and old dresses etc. Also items from a ship that sunk close by.

We very much enjoyed our visit, especially the agricultural machinery and the history of the manufacture in Ardrossan of the stump-jump plough (see photo).
