The Paper Fox

Kristen shot our wedding last March, it took 4 months for her to send the link to our online photos. Now it's been nearly a year and we are still waiting on our promised prints and photos on USB. Over 6 months ago she told us Our printers are anticipating that your prints will be delivered next week so I have uploaded your wedding images for you to view today and will deliver everything for you once your prints arrive." We have tried calling and emailing and have just been completely ignored. Absolutely appalling and unacceptable service after spending an absolute fortune."

As a wedding planner, I had the pleasure of working with Kristen for a destination wedding, where the clients had chosen her separately. It was an incredible experience to witness her talent, dedication and positive personality. Very professional and her turnaround of polished photos was quick.

We had family photos taken with Kristen from The Paper Fox, and I cannot recommend her highly enough to anyone looking for natural and beautiful family photos. Kristen was so accomodating in time and location, and captured so much magic between our family. The photos are natural, aesthetically beautiful, show so much emotion, not posed, and bright and cheerful! Kristen is just a joy to be around, has such a wonderful calming energy, which was perfect to make it feel like a fun afternoon. Turn around for edits was really quick and we were ecstatic with the memories she captured for us. Thank you Kristen, we are eternally grateful ❤️

I do not recommend booking the Paper Fox for your wedding day. Please read the other poor reviews (of which there are many) as I wish I had done before booking The Paper Fox.We used the Paper Fox to do the photography and videography for our wedding day.The photographer was late on the day so our morning photos were rushed.We were promised a sneak peak" (a couple of photos) the week after the wedding which never arrived.We had to hassle constantly for our wedding photos and video. The video arrived over 6 months later and the editing was poor. It was like a slide show

The Paper Fox (Kristen) did the photography for our wedding Sep 2022 (in the UK). The photos we got were stunning and exactly what we wanted. We really appreciated the consultations we had in the lead up to the wedding and her attention to detail so that she knew what we were looking for in the photos. Our guests and friends all commented on how wonderful both the photos are but also how professional and easy to work with Kristen was on the day of our wedding. Kristen made everyone feel comfortable in our wedding party and was discreet in taking pictures during the ceremony which we both appreciated. We also loved her style of photography and editing of photos and couldn’t be happier with how they’ve turned out!We had to wait close to 4 months before we got to see our wedding photos (online), which was longer than we expected (we did get some snapshots before then - about a month after our wedding). Communication with the Paper Fox was somewhat difficult and frustrating. The photography and getting it sorted was the only stressful thing we had in planning our wedding, however it was what we spent most of our budget on which may have led to some extra stress and frustration in the periods of uncertainty with The Paper Fox.We would recommend The Paper Fox for weddings and events within Australia but be weary of the lack of communication and note to have everything you want really clear and set up in the consultations prior the wedding.

Kristen is an amazingly talented photographer, our photos were more beautiful than I ever could have imagined! I knew that her work was incredible based on her website and IG but was still blown away when I saw how ours looked. Kristen has the wonderful ability to make everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera, an fantastic eye for detail, and I could not recommend Paper Fox more highly. We will cherish our photos forever - thank you so much Kristen and the Paper Fox team ❤️❤️

It is a shame to be leaving a negative review, however it would appear we are not the only clients to have had this experience with The Paper Fox and I want others to be aware of what they are signing up for.We used The Paper Fox for our wedding photography and videography in September 2022. Three days after the wedding, Kristen messaged to say she was working on getting some sneak peak photos to us, however they never came. I followed up a month later via text and email but received no response.I finally got onto Kristen at the end of October 2022 and she said the video would be a bit of a longer wait but she would have all the photos to us within a week. They didn’t arrive. I followed up again at the end of November 2022 but received no response.In early December 2022, Kristen messaged to say the photos were ready and she had sent me a link but we didn’t receive it. I followed up a few days later and she had apparently made a typo with my email address. Once that was fixed up, we finally got to see some photos of the day. They were mostly great with the exception of some where the background should have been more carefully considered (i.e my family photos in the backyard with the hose reel very visible - multiple people have commented on it and there’s no reason we couldn’t have shuffled over a metre or so).In mid February 2023, I followed up about the video. Kristen said she would have it to us by 21 February. It didn’t arrive. I have followed up again with Kristen and received no response. We have family and friends asking weekly about the video (and the photos up until we received them) and are still giving them the same response - we don’t have it and have no idea when it will arrive.I understand these things take time but it’s not difficult to provide a realistic timeframe and stick to that or advise us why it cannot be met. While Kristen takes great photos and we are happy with what we have received so far, it has come at great expense, stress and frustration for us and our families.The Paper Fox lacks professionalism and any ability to effectively communicate with clients. I would not use The Paper Fox again and would not recommend them to anyone.

Kristen was een absolute pleasure to work with and made us feel super comfortable during the day. She was really flexible and took the most incredible pictures of our sunset elopement. Thank you for capturing the most beautiful day of our life in such an authentic way!

Five stars is not enough for The Paper Fox! We will be forever grateful to Kirsten for capturing our Wedding Day. This is because Kristen postponed FOUR times with us on the journey through a pandemic, shot our Wedding day in the mud and rain, was smiling and laughing the entire day and night… and because the final product took our breath away. You know how usually you take a photo on your phone and think ‘it can’t capture it’… Kristen does!!! In the most relaxed, yet efficient way (I can’t believe she wrangled all our family members!) The Wedding Day itself was better than I could have ever imagined and I am soooooo glad I have Kristen’s AMAZING photos to re-live the day! We got our photos back so quickly too! It was so nice to look at them whilst on our honeymoon! Would 100% recommend The Paper Fox!

The Paper Fox are the best! Kristen was so accommodating and easy to work with in the ever changing process of our COVID wedding. From helping my husband surprise propose and taking beautiful photos in the moment to creating gorgeous wedding invites, helping connect us with other amazing vendors, guiding us in planning our timeline, to taking the most gorgeous and “us” photos on our wedding day. We cannot recommend them enough! We absolutely LOVE The Paper Fox.
