A small viewing area off the side of the road close to the bridge across the river. There's lots of trees that obscure some of the view, but you can get access to some better viewing spots. Limited area to stretch the legs, and not much other than an information board and views on one side. Worth stopping off briefly for a few minutes if passing by.

Mitta Valley Lookout
Mitta Valley Lookout is in Tallangata, on the way to Corryong, if you're travelling from Melbourne.The little viewing area is on the right side off the road on the way to Corryong. You can cross the road to get a look at the bridge close by.There is one picnic table with seating. No facilities are available. Its great for scenic pics though!

Magic spot with distant views of Mt Bogong covered in snow. Great walkway/rail trail across Lake Hume for a walk with my dog.
