The absolute worst company I have ever dealt with. They lost my item and then never showed up. The delivery driver was extremely rude and then showed up a day later at wrong time and just left outside my house.This is not a company you can trust at all. Do yourself a favour and don't go with them.

If you could give negative stars.. I would be.. The biggest liars and the worst company and the useless Indian drivers aren't getting worse.. Never deliver what is promised. Do yourself a favour and steer clear of this useless incompetent company..

Biggest joke of a customer service department. Some people just shouldn’t work in the industries they are in. Tried to speak to customer service regarding my item being left at the front door even though i thought it was “sign on delivery” - first thing she did was cut me off, extremely rudely, she was legit yelling in my ear and cutting me off by shouting my name INCORRECTLY at me as I was trying to communicate what had happened. And then instead of explaining the process, she was straight to blaming the company who sent the item and said and I quote “They gave us permission to leave it at your door, so if you have a problem take it up with them”.I then called said company and they advised that is not their policy, it is that of Direct Freight and HE ACTUALLY EXPLAINED to me that there was a link in my delivery email that outlined how to have a package not left on the front door. IMAGINE! Someone from another company was able to nicely explain how things work (as they use them for all deliveries and apparently spend over $10k a month wth them) even though they were just thrown under the bus by Direct Freight.Shame on that lady for her service and inability to do her job in a professional manner. I think management need to start listening to their recorded calls, you know the ones “for training and quality purposes”, might give them an insight to how their staff actually perform.

Didn't deliver even though there was a AoT and then had to book a re-delivery in which the Melbourne Depot didn't do. When the customer service team tried to call the Melbourne depot no one picked up. Seems like the Melbourne depot is just useless. I will be cancelling our business account as this is becoming a constant problem. Time of DFE to sack the Melbourne Depot's manager and get someone who knows what they are doing.

We purchased an item from an online store and Direct Freight were assigned to deliver it. I received an email stating a scheduled delivery date and three days after that date the delivery had still not been made. Since then I have tried calling them 11 times to which only two of the calls have been answered by someone. I was told the item was unable to be delivered to the shipping address as it was outside of their area but I had to call them to find that out, there has been no contact made by them to me only by me to them. I was also told the item was unable to be located and they were unsure as to where it was. I sent multiple emails trying to find out what was going on and where my item was with no replies. I am still waiting for any response ands it’s been almost 3-4 weeks since they last communicated.*update.. it has been over 18months since this all happened and I have still not received any communication from them!

Truck with registration 1FM 4SN has an aggressive driver who parks the truck in Blanche Street Collingwood every day for a break and often smashes branches off our streets trees. I finally decided to point this out.I showed him the broken branches and asked him to show some care. Instead of accepting there was an issue, he jumped out of the truck and came at me, asked me if I knew what polite meant and asked me to spell the word and questioned my right to have the conversation about the damage.I advised, I would call DFE to raise this issue, he scoffed at that and encouraged me to call. I have been on hold for 41:55 minutes and can’t get through hence the posting.Show caution with this truck driver.

If I could do 0 stars I would they do not deserve 1 star, this company is absolutely horrible, my parcel has been sitting at there depot for over a week hasn't even moved, I rang their customer service up they told me that they haven't got my parcel there (even though it has been scanned into there depot) don't know how that makes sense, they then told me to ring the sender and tell them to ring direct back to describe what the parcel looks like so they can look for it! I've had alot of parcels sent and never had this happen what a disgrace of a company direct freight are, they are not express thats for sure it would be more express for me to drive and pick up the item myself, the parcel is still missing as of 20/04/23 no resolution as yet

Parcel attempted delivery to my business address yesterday and not left, despite having authority to leave.Called this morning after seeing an update that delivery would be re-attempted today, and knowing I would not be at the address, but that my neighbour could get the parcel for me once it had been left. I was assured that the parcel would be left as per instruction from both the sender and myself. An hour ago the parcel was attempted delivery but not left. Called customer service again, put on hold for a lengthy amount of time only to be put through to an incredibly rude woman named Kristy, who was incredibly patronising and unhelpful, spoke over the top of me constantly and refused to give me her full name when I expressed that I would be making a complaint.Kristy informed me that it was up to the driver whether to leave a parcel or not and that I should know this as it was in your terms. I am the receiver, I am not aware of the terms as a sender would be. She said it can be delivered to my house address instead but this is more unsafe as my property fronts to a park so it is even more exposed. When I explained I would prefer it left at work (there are cameras AND my I had arranged my neighbour to collect the parcel) she sarcastically commented “Yeah, but our driver didn’t know that”. Your driver should have know that, in fact, as I had called their customer service that morning to make the arrangements prior.I am stuck now, unable to get my parcel as I never know when it is coming, I can’t sit at an address all day waiting, it’s particularly ludicrous as I work in a business park with 10-20 other business surrounding mine.Surely it is up to myself and the sender to give authority to leave, particularly when we know the value of an item it’s our call to make, not your condescending customer service staff Kristy. When I asked to speak to a supervisor I was denied. When I asked for the process to make a complaint she just said call back on Monday. When I asked who I should speak to she bluntly said “Anybody other than me”.Doesn't even deserve 1 star to be honest.

It was pleasent surprise to receive my delivery from SAIS KHAN the delivery man from Direct Freight Express (at around 1030hours in the morning) who made sure that the package is not left at door but to make an attempt to reach me over mobile. Though instruction of handing over to consignee was not mentioned in packet parcel, looking at the Unit where I stay and considering the risk of leaving the package on door, SAIS KHAN made number of door bells but it went ringing and I did not bother as I had done my night Shift and was tired and not expected the parcel to reach so early as it was meant of delivery on 2nd January 2023. SAIS KHAN spoke to his office and took my mobile and called me and this is when I realised the Surprise and thanked him so much that I could not stop without prasing his services in formal manner and I could not find better platform than this. Direct Freight should recognise such team and motivate other team members by setting an example of SAIS KHAN which adds brand value to Direct Freight and it is one of the most intangible assets of any service provider. You have to be ashamed of your poor and shameful service to your customers, you do not have any credibility in dealing with your customers and you do not have any sense of responsibility towards them, just as the program designed to organize the recovery of lost items needs to be modified, as you prevent the customer from writing a number in the box designated for writing the phone number You call him in a way that arouses resentment, and this in itself circumvents the law in order to force the customer to go to your warehouse himself to fetch the need, in addition to your unprofessional drivers, unfortunately, who seem to be completely unqualified to deliver service to customers.
