The Bowl Boonah Bowls Club

Had the best Friday night at The Bowl last week! Started with bowls on the green- first time ever and we nailed it! The excellent local gin that Emily, the host recommended may have helped- who knows? Or it may have been the toe-tapping live music?To celebrate our newfound talent, we headed inside to the beautifully renovated restaurant to enjoy the most delicious meals- I got the Scenic Rim BBQ Ribs, hubby got the Chicken Parmigiana and Em got the Carbonara Pappardelle Pasta.Mine- the ribs were perfectly done and so good that I used my fingers to nibble the last bits off the bones. Hubby’s- “best parmi ever”. Em’s- “incredible flavour” and wanted a doggie bag to take the leftovers home.Serving sizes were very generous and wait times were very low especially for a busy Friday night. We didn’t have dessert- we were too full- but did sneak in another gin. Or two. Great service, great music, great food! We’ll be back for the bowls and stay for the rest.

Love our new Boonah Bowl. It's a beautiful venue for all the family. From great coffee in the morning through to yummy food in the evening. Emily and the team are working their hearts out for us to enjoy and feel welcomed. So if you've experienced a few hiccups during these early days, be patient and kind. They're off to a great start and will only get better. We've been to dinner twice now and it was divine. Great work team.

The best bowls club in SEQ with panoramic views, excellent service and great food.We assumed that as a bowls club it would be bland and empty but quite the opposite.We were lucky to get a seat when we did. I recommend booking ahead.Most stars go for the customer service and friendly staff who go right out of their way to help customers enjoy their experience.

4+ Stars actually. My friends and I really enjoyed the menu - we're happy to recommend the Duck Spring Roles, Ragu Pasta and the delicacies from the dessert cabinet. Will definitely be back!

The Bowl Boonah has undergone a massive renovation and it looks superb, with amazing views of the mountain ranges. The food is delicious with options to cover entrees, mains and dessert. For lovers of cocktails you won't be disappointed. Most Friday and Saturday nights there is live music. The service is perfect and children are catered for. You can play barefoot bowls and enjoy outdoor dining.

I went here and had a mixed experience. While the chicken burger was enjoyable, the calamari portion was not quite enough although it was nice. Meanwhile the salmon was unfortunately under-cooked. Additionally, the limited menu choices and value-for-money were a bit disappointing.On the positive side, the staff were friendly and there wasn't a long wait for our order for 4.

The service was good. A cold night in a cold room was uncomfortable.My food was barely warm. The roast cherry tomatoes were very cold on the inside. Plates were cold. I tried a couple of wines. Not pleasant. Sorry, I just feel there is room for improvement.

We enjoyed a lovely meal at The Bowl last night! Room for the kids to run around outside, live music creating a wonderful Friday night atmosphere, and great quality meals at a reasonable price. We will be back!

Wow, we just had lunch here today after seeing it in Qld Weekender recently, we were in the area so thought we would give it a go, Weekender said it was great but they were wrong, it’s way better than that. Without a doubt the best Chicken Schnitzel I have ever had and I’m old so have had quite a few. See you next week
