I want to share my experience and express my deep disappointment with the services provided by Monicka Baird. It is with great concern that I write this Google review to shed light on the dishonest and unethical practices I have encountered during an estate matter.In an estate where the Supreme Court had issued clear orders for final distribution, Monicka Baird failed to uphold these orders, which were agreed upon by all parties involved. Not only did she misappropriate funds during the final distribution, but she also disregarded the law by refusing to provide a complete and full accounting. It is particularly disturbing to note that Monicka Baird boasts about her prior experience as a CFO for an international company on her website, yet fails to demonstrate basic competence and transparency in her legal practice.Furthermore, Monicka Baird sent a beneficiary an account for services that were neither requested nor authorized. When confronted with this issue, she claimed to have written off the account in her communication with the Legal Services Commission of Queensland. However, during the Final Distribution, she deducted the same amount from the beneficiary's entitlement, contradicting her previous statement. This inconsistency raises serious questions about her integrity and calls into question the transparency of the entire process.In addition to these financial improprieties, other events during the estate administration were equally alarming. For example, Monicka Baird disposed of house inventory without proper authority, displaying a complete disregard for the rightful owners and their interests. Furthermore, she made basic legal errors in handling a civil law matter by failing to provide proper termination notice to a tenant with over 30 years of tenancy, thereby causing unnecessary legal complications and potential harm to all parties involved.It is my understanding that the Legal Services Commission of Queensland is currently investigating these matters, which is a testament to the seriousness of the allegations against Monicka Baird. I sincerely hope that the commission takes appropriate action to hold her accountable for her actions and to rectify the injustices that have transpired.I strongly advise anyone seeking legal representation or services to avoid Monicka Baird. Her lack of professionalism, ethical misconduct, and disregard for the law make her an unreliable and untrustworthy choice.It is essential that the legal profession maintains the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and competence to ensure justice and protect the interests of individuals.
