Absolutely love how Marie has cut and coloured my hair. I went in with rather damaged blonde that had been fried by someone else and I can already tell after a few colours done here my hair is starting to feel back to normal. My blonde colour is perfection, I’m so so happy.They use quality products, the salon is gorgeous, love my latte and biscoff cookie!!Highly recommend.

After having a great 1st balayage experience with Caroline in 2019, I decided to go back to her recently and was throughly disappointed with the service and results. Instead of a balayage, I got streaky highlights that cost $380 (price of full head foils). They were dismissive when I told them I wasn’t happy with the result on the day. Wrote to Marie, she got Caroline to ring me but I didn’t bother going back as I didn’t want to risk having my hair ruined further. Do not recommend. Go elsewhere if you actually want proper balayage and service.

I went to UVA Salon for the first time yesterday for some foils and a cut and had a great experience! I was greeted by 3 friendly staff at the front counter and only had to wait a short amount of time before being seated. Caroline sat sat and consulted with me to make sure she was across what I wanted to achieve. We went through some photos first of some different options. She did my colour, and she gave me a gorgeous blonde - it came out gorgeous and I’m so in love with it!! The hospitality while waiting for my colour to set was wonderful, with staff constantly making sure I was ok for a tea, coffee or water.The wash was so relaxing and the girl who washed out my foils was gentle and didn’t pull at my hair and she wasn’t rough.Tara did my cut and she was also brilliant. I’ve wanted a shorter fringe for such a long time and haven’t been able to get it anywhere. She cut to a length I was happy with and made sure she incorporated it into the rest of my cut.The price came out to less than I was quoted and less than I had expected.Upon reading some of the other less complimentary reviews about the salon, I really wonder if the salon was right for them and what their expectations were. I watched the other staff style hair and colour it and everyone’s hair looked stunning!I was so happy with every aspect of my visit to this salon and would recommend them in a heartbeat! Thanks to everyone at UVA salon yesterday for making my first visit a pleasure!

I love going to see Tash, amazing cut and colour every time. Everyone at UVA is so welcoming and professional, making the whole experience just perfect. I always leave feeling so amazing. The most wonderful salon, thank you Uva and Tash.

Went there for balayage to lighten my previous balayage and freshen up the look instead Tash did a full head foil on me then applied very dark ash colour over it so i left with black burnt hair while i paid $350 and covered my previous highlights too. I was extremely disappointed and when i called their salon to say that I wasn’t happy with the outcome( also said on the day this is not what i asked for as I showed her a picture which was a balayage) they kept saying this was what I needed!!!!It was very unprofessional that they couldn’t accept they provided the wrong service to me and didn’t take responsibility for it.

DO NOT Recommend. Very rude and unprofessional, they are not good at what they’re doing probably just have a good social media marketing management or something otherwise their instagram doesn’t represent what is happening in their salon got my hair done with them, it’s completely ruined and beyond repair and fix also the colour is not what i asked for.

Booked with the principal colourist Caroline for a balayage/highlights and face frame to brighten an existing colour from another salon.Despite a thorough consultation- she brought the salon owner Marie over to consult as well- I ended up with such a horrendous result I didn't even bother contacting UVA to get it fixed...instead booked in asap at another salon for a correction.

Had a hair cut and some highlights done here a few months back. I’m a guy, medium short curly hair. In the salon for no more than 45 minutes, price … $400.Almost passed out handing over my credit card. If you’ve got money to burn, this is the place for you, otherwise, best to look elsewhere.
