Heavenly Queen Temple
Amazing temple. Gives you a peaceful feeling and you know God is looking after you. I believe you are not allowed to take photos inside the temple but the exterior is also amazing. Nice and quiet and people praying. Still in construction but expected to be finished in about a year.You would never expect this place to be in Melbourne (outskirts) and you need to take industrial roads under construction to get here. Amazing!Thank you.

Went to the temple on the first day of lunar new year. Dragon dance and fire cracker really makes you feel festive!Walk around the temples and check out the statue.

This was on my list for a while since I saw it on my train ride to the city.It can take a bit of a walk to get to if you are using public transportation, but once you are there, it's fascinating! I thought it would be slightly bigger, though.You can get into most buildings and take as many pictures as you want. They have a special event timetable.Don't miss the 15m statue of Mazu. She is gorgeous!They have a clean bathroom as well.

Tranquil and peaceful place to seek wisdom and self development. The temple is accessible by foot. Head to Footscray station and walk for 30 mins. There's two ways to go there, either by the Riverside promenade or the main road via the residential entrance

Heavenly Queen Temple
Took the little one here on Sunday for a little afternoon walk, it's very peaceful and calm and feels a world away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Seemed to have plenty of parks on a Sunday afternoon too! Not heaps to do for older kids but it's a great learning opportunity (my toddler was loving the piles of fruit!).

Knew about this place when we saw the beautiful statue while driving on the road, and finally able to see the place last week! Such a peaceful place and for a donation of $5, you will receive a bunch of incense that you will be able to make offerings to.Also saw a group of young people practicing the lion dance! Pretty cool!Definitely need to come down here at least once in your lifetime to experience the peace and wonder of this place.
