ACT Optical Gungahlin went above and beyond to help me get some prescription sunglasses before my holiday after there wad a delay with the supplier. I really appreciate their efforts.

A great local family friendly business. Have been servicing my family for many many years now. Always feel welcomed and comfortable as a local Ngunnawal woman and appreciate the support they have provided to local Indigenous community events and initiatives.

I recently had an extremely bad experience with ACT optical and its staff, for this reason I do not recommend this business. I originally had an eye test which went well, the optometrist was professional and kind and my eye issues were identified quickly and a follow up appointment was made.The second time I attended it seemed like we had caught the attendant on a bad day as she was very rude, passive aggresive and actually ended up yelling at us because we were 10 minutes late for our appointment. She also refused to acknowledge or answer my partner who is a black woman, and we felt that some kind of racist vibe was going on there.When i called management to complain i was threatened with physical violence by the manager as well as receiving alot of verbal abuse. The man was named Chirard.I do not suggest this place unless you are ready for drama.

These guys are amazing. The team here treats you like family and never fails to provide outstanding products. I refuse to go anyway else now!

Excellent staff and amazing service. The optometrist was fanstasic. He was knowledgeable and thorough.The owner and staff were thoughtful and helped me pick new frames and made sure i was satisifed with the colour and shape. They were also honest with how the frames looked and strove to find one that suited my face well even though it took 20 minutes.Said frames were also super expensive so the owner lowered the price for me by a significant amount to look after me.This was my first time experience with this store and i felt like i was treated as an old family friend.I cannot recommend this place enough.

Very good and helpful, the staff went out their way to accommodate me as a walk in customer, after I had a bad experience with another Optometrist in Gungahlin. Highly recommended
