Since changing hands Malia and Ben have put Burringbar as a destination. Their takeaway food is fantastic, home made cakes and perfectly brewed Chai is wonderful. Not to mention the fresh food and great selection of wines all served with a friendly smile and a feeling of community spirit. Don’t wait for an excuse to go. Just do it! Burringbar Barn is my go to store every time as it’s got everything from food to general household needs and the perfect gifts including fresh flowers.

We absolutely LOVED visiting the Burringbar Barn!The staff were so friendly and if you can you should absolutely visit - a perfect pit stop too if you are doing the Rail Trail!The store has everything you could possibly need - supermarket, hot food, coffee, delicious home made cakes, alcohol, fresh produce and a lovely florist upstairs.We also had such a fun night at their Friday night pizza night in their lovely outdoor dining area.Absolutely worth a visit!

Burringbar, what a cute little town. I don't know if there is anywhere else to buy food from here, but The Barn has pretty much EVERYTHING. They have a menu to order from and I must say the Burger with the Lot was delicious, filling and substantial. Just what was needed for the 18km ride back to Murwillumbah. Hubby had the chicken burger and said it was 'excellent'. There is also a cabinet at the register area with a different array of bread rolls and I think cakes (didn't take a close look) if you want something quick. They have a little side verandah area with table and chairs to sit and eat. The owner Malia (like Maria) is lovely.Happily come back and buy another burger here and we probably will when we bring our friends on a ride on the NRRT.There's a bike rack out the front to leave your bike at too!

Super little store with charm. Excellent selection of food, ice creams and coffee. Favourite stop now when riding on the Rail Trail. Highly recommend.

The best veggie burger I have ever had.All home made, delicious and very reasonably priced.Very friendly service too - well done!Perfect stop for lunch as part of the rail trail!

Never miss a chance to stop here on our road trips up north! Such a cute little shop with everything you need, the smoked chicken is a hit. Coffee is always on point and the fresh food menu is perfect. Can also grab ya grog here with the best selection of natural wines I’ve seen for a long time! Service is always delightful too.

New owners have done a great renovation. Best of all though, the coffee is now excellent, as was the cheesecake and the service!
