Went by seeing 4.9 star. But this place deserve more than 5 star. Food is tasty and filling. Lots of parking. Kid friendly. The best is excellent customer service.

BEST Ribs I have had in a long time. From the friendly staff, perfect service and amazing flavours of each (large) dish, to the delightfully refreshing taste of each beer, a Pineapple Daquiri and sneaky Watermelon & Mint Sparkling alcoholic water. Roy's is the secret Newcastle has been hiding. If you are looking for a chilled weekend arvo lunch, a date night with style or a dinner that will leave you full and happy you made the decision to go out for dinner, then this is the place to go. The Ribs... just wow. I have found my new favourite, value for money, superb service and amazing food restaurant. Honestly can not recommend Roy's more highly.

Just visited the new establishment. What can I say. Lovely welcome and great chat. Can't rate this food high enough, quality as always and so happy that they have a place of their own to call home.Excited to see the menu develop but it's always hard to go past a great burger.Don't miss out on mayfields best place to eat.Thank you.

We love Roys! All dishes are consistently excellent, packed with flavour and of generous proportions. A great deal of thought and care has obviously gone into this menu. Everything is fresh, vibrant and beautifully put together. Flavours are well balanced and a credit to the hardworking kitchen team. A special mention to the front of house staff who are always friendly and immediately make everyone feel welcome. The range of gluten free and dairy free options is excellent and specials are creative and fun. This place is an absolute gem and far exceeds your standard club fare. Can't wait to return!

Really excellent food and better service!I got the royal burger and friend got the Mexican schnitzel. Cooked to perfection. Would also highly recommend the onion rings and chicken wings.Saturday lunch was a perfect time for some really excellent Soul Food.Really recommend this place as a perfect hidden gem.

The food is excellent, I had the schnitzel, I wanted to try the chicken wings, but just didn't have the stomach space. Chips were really good as with anything fried. The salad dressing was perfectly well balanced, not too sour. I would recommend this place if you are after pub food.

Great service and even better food!If you want a local Aussie bistro style meal served up with a bunch of laughs and good times you do well do give Roy's ago.There is also fun community events such as weekly local tastings!

Amazing food in a very relaxed setting. We take our kids here for an evening out. They have a ball playing with all the other kids, we don't feel self conscious, because they get two whole greens to run amok around, and we can enjoy fantastic burgers with a few drinks. Everyone wins!
