I got sold when I saw bestVanilla slice. There was lots of seating. You need to sit at a table before they serve you. The view is great. We first walked up and down the strip before we decided to sit and sip on coffee while enjoying the vanilla slice. All I can say is that it was amazing

I have to commend this place for being able to pass off pretty ordinary vanilla slice as “Sorrento’s famous vanilla slice” and charge $8 per slice. Marketing genius, especially when you have a bunch of well off visitors that don’t know any better. If service was okay, I might have given this place another star but it was terrible - again genius for doing as well as they do with such bad service (why should they try harder, when the bulk of their customers (and staff) are transient?)

A group of 6 males arrived after us and the guy and his wife at the next table. The waitress ignored us and the couple beside us and served the later arrivals. I bought a take away vanilla slice instead just to try it and walked out. My wifes vanilla slices are better. Not worth the bother when the staff are not aware enough to observe service etiquette.

Coffee & vanilla slice good, although a lot smaller than they used to be, & still the same price, staff ignorant of our presence, even after asking if it was table service, then not willing to serve. Then we were mocked for asking for service, after waiting for 10 mins despite 1/3 of tables empty, & we were not the only ones having to approach staff for service. Staff then displayed childish behaviour to affirm their roles as waitress who were doing something. Recommend visiting in winter on a weekday, when things are quite, & the Vanilla slices are larger, plus counter service.

Obviously new owners. They have jacked the price up and halved the size of the vanilla slice. You have lost me. Never going back there again.

The vanilla slice is delicious! Treats are well presented and look tasty, the ones we tried were yummy- frog in the pond, Turkish delight, raw brownie and vanilla slice. But the staff were unfriendly and just not a good vibe from them at all. Felt like my being there was more of a nuisance to them than anything.
