YANTANABIE MEMORIAL HALL
When we arrived there, could not see anyone and truly the place seemed like a place of distant past. Later found out from the information board that this place is indeed a ghost town and carries a long lost history. Felt bit strange and interesting.History: The ghost town of Yantanabie (Aboriginal meaning ‘deep water’) was gazetted in 1918. The town was once the hub of a busy community, but today only the Memorial Hall stands serenely housing the history of the area.
