If you're going to be a cashless property, then you damn well had better still retain the ability to provide coins for your your coin-operated laundry. Could been cleaner, too.

Spent 2 days alongwith 11 friends. Nice location. Very friendly staff . Dannie is especially effective person. Food is also nice. Bathroom, taps etc , should be more user-friendly. Lifts are also slightly difficult to use. Overall, pleasant experience.

Comfortable enough room but Wifi is unusably slow and big lump In the old bed. Not happy with pre-check in or check in process - just a massive up-sell. hotel does not accept cash but charges exorbitant card use fees (scam). Beware. We obviously got a very basic room with a view of the driveway and no balcony - but for more $$ we could have upgraded, Yeah - Nah. Construction around the pool deck ATM.

Pacific Hotel was great. The room was spacious , the bed comfortable and the bathroom clean.We were on the 7th floor overlooking the Casino with partial water views. The staff were fantastic, they went above and beyond to make our stay memorable for the right reasons.I have already recommended this hotel to my friends.

Fair welcome and friendly approach. They have the dinner only pre defined menu which you can access via QR code they supplied. But you can order only up to 2000. And the breakfast served in the restaurant which you can find average selection which was good by the quality. Checking out was smooth and overall stay was comfortable.

One night stay on holiday before returning home.This hotel is in a great location and for a much more affordable price than some of the others close by. Plenty of regular shops, chemist etc but also some good places to eat or get coffee and best of all, close to the marina and the Reef Fleet terminal for those must do reef trips.I really want to give a special mention to the gentleman who checked me in. His name is Darrell (?sp) and he was the friendliest and most welcoming fellow who also incidentally also had the knack of telling an entertaining story or two. Thanks to him!Yes, the rooms are a bit dated and some refurb probably will need to happen but nothing was broken and everything was clean and the bed was very comfortable. My room also had a balcony that was great for catching a local view and a bit of a breeze.There is a swimming pool on Level 3 which was not crowded in the late afternoon and was a welcome respite from the heat and steaminess of the day.All in all, I had a good stay here and will definitely consider for any future visits to Cairns.

Mate!!! What else can I say about Donnie!!!He is the best dude I have ever met with the biggest heart and service with the biggest smile!!Donnie has made our honeymoon the most amazing time ever!! We would come back just for his smile and welcome!!10 out of 10 for Donnie!!

Great location but the rest is downhill. Old-school Dial up is faster than the wifi provided. Bathroom needs a good Reno and an actual fan installed, the sticker stating not to have a hot shower so the alarms don't go off lol. Aircon inlet needs to have the inch of dust removed. General cleaning of bench tops was very poor. Balcony is great minus the constant noise of building pipes rattling from below. Biscuits included with the tea and coffee were the highlight of the entire room.
