Rooms old but clean and tidy. 4 of us had dinner there, had to wait a bit but food was very nice. Have backpackers working and they are very happy and friendly.

Room are OK. Was very clean but a bit smelly. Bar. Well, I ordered 2 beers and got 1 . I ordered and payed for 2 meals and got 1. Not too impressed with that big ladies behind the bar who took my orders.

Honestly!! Very honest and true to business this people !We booked two rooms and were stuck in the muds overnight couldn’t make it to the motel, the next day phone rings up and it was from the hotel asking for our wellbeing and we explained the situation and they were very glad we were okay and processed our refunds immediately.Honestly I am very happy the way we got treated by Royal Hotel Hughenden .

A last minute booking.Suited us. A tidy room but very outdatedFree washing machines , that was nice.Had dinner and drinks at sports bar.A quiet night. We were gone by 6amGood ph service.Parking out the front. Room 21.

We ordered chicken schnitzels, they were burnt to black, well deep fried black, my sons cut their mouths quite bad trying to eat it, I told staff but no apology and no compensation at all, no money back and no offer to recook, so they go home hungry. Will never return and highly recommend to never eat here, absolutely disgusted!

We ate at the pub. Had a chicken Schnitzel and fries. Waited about 25mins. But worth it. Chicken tasted very fresh, and was very lean breast piece. Fries were very good as well.It is called a light meal, $16.Highly recommend it.My wife had the steak. She liked it very much as well. Normally she complains about something ( too cold etc) but this time, no complains either.

The room we booked via their website was apparently being used for staff accommodation & hadn't been booked out to guests in more than 12 months! Staff were helpful but the rooms that we were given were not good. One had a horrible smell and the other had a broken door to the bathroom that wouldn't slide closed without force as it had come off the tracks and was dragging on the floor. This seemed like a surprise to the staff trying to assist and could not be fixed.Luckily we were leaving the next day.Would not have wanted to stay another night.
