Dancing with Maree

Dancing with Maree is more than just a place to learn many different dance styles. This dance school provides a fun and nurturing environment that helps build confidence and encourages dancers of all skill levels to strive for their best. This has has been my experience since my daughter started with DWM in 2017 and it feels like we have been part of the DWM family for much longer than just 3 years! I highly recommend giving Dancing with Maree a try!

My girls have been dancing with Maree for the past 2 years and we have not been disappointed. I have not come from a dancing background so i definitely did not know the protocol or what to expect. All I knew was they loved to dance. From my first email asking if we could attend a trial to the girls attending their very first eisteddfod this weekend, every silly question or concern of mine has been answered. The team at Dancing with Maree are amazing, they are professional, inclusive and generally care about their students. We as parents are so happy to see our girls love their class every week so thank you Dancing with Maree.

Dancing with Maree is not only a dance school, it's a family for all dancers and their parents. The teachers are all professional, passionate and caring and love their students. The bond the dancers have in class and on stage is also a testament of the teachers' dedication and the fun environment that they dance in.Over the past 10 years my daughter has grown from a shy little girl to a bubbly teenager and a confident dancer both on and off the stage.I can wholeheartedly recommend Dancing with Maree for any dancer and their family.

The end of year concert is a critical reminder about how much perseverance and membership can shape your child's life. Not only are the performances amazing but the production crew and behind the scenes hard work is very visible! Well done DWM!!

My daughter joined this year with her friends and she love going to dance class every week! Maree and her team is very responsive and helpful. Teachers are also interactive and would let us know how my daughter is doing in class!

Maree and all of her teachers are fantastic. Very patient, friendly and very approachable. Both of my daughters confidence in her dancing has grown immensely since dancing here. The enjoyment and happiness I see in them when they leave a class is fantastic. I would highly recommend Dancing With Maree to anyone interested in getting their children into dance.

My pilates and PT studio has been affiliated with Maree and her dance studio for the past 3 years and i have seen first hand just how much hard work and dedication Maree and her fantastic team put towards making the studio such a success.Maree does an amazing job to personalise each students experience and I really like that.I have also noticed since my daughter began dancing here that she has become more mature and is disciplined and I believe this is because of the older dancers being such great role models.Keep up the great week DWM

My daughter love DWM very much. She build nice social skill, balance skill, sports skill, dance skill, when she went to stage, she become more confidence than before, we learn here more than two years, its a very nice experience. The educators are very nice, and always know how to teach children, also inclusion support, how lovely,its amazing, i first time saw a girl in a wheelchair on stage, what an excellent performance, we are so proud of her, in DWM, I think every child be loved. We are very new to the Dancing with Maree family. My little one is 3.5 years old and we started ballet and acro in term 4 on the recommendation of a friend whose daughter is in the same class. I really appreciated that the trail offered is for two weeks. It's nearly impossible to work out whether your kid is going to enjoy something with one trail. So that was great from the get go.The timing and location of the classes is well thought out and appropriate, noting that by the afternoon most kids this age are too tuckered out to do anything. So the morning classes really work for the age.My kid loved the classes so we signed up for the term, and the $20 for the trial is credited to the fees. The fees for the classes themselves are affordable and competitive with the enquiries I made with other local dance schools.The teacher we had, Miss Becca, was amazing! Not only did she have the patience of a saint, but she did wonders with my kid. She really worked on technique, which is not easy to do with a bunch of little kids. She always had a smile on her face too! Despite having only one term of classes, my kid got up at the end of year concert, full of confidence and actually danced! We were amazed at how well she could do some of the moves and tricks. We never practiced at home so I just am so impressed. I had actually warned my family that I was sure my kid would get on stage and just run around like a nutter. It was great to see her full of confidence, enjoying herself and picking up some cool moves. I've never seen her hula hoop before or do rolls, and there she was not only doing it, but loving it.With the classes themselves, parents don't sit in and watch, but you leave your kid with the teacher, and then pick up after. I usually hang around outside with some other mums, just in case the teacher needs us since the kids are young, but not all mums stay. So you can also get work done if you need to.Of course, we've signed up for next year and really looking forward to it! It's a great way to learn some discipline, build confidence, learn how to work as an individual and as part of a team, and for little kids it does help with the gross motor skills and control. The best part is, my kid loves it! She asks to go to dance almost every other day.Would highly recommend and cannot rave enough!

Such a beautiful dance school! My daughter has just started here after hearing from her school friends about how much they love their dance classes at Dancing with Maree. It has such a warm, friendly, caring and professional vibe. It is so well organised, with everything set out clearly and any queries are responded to quickly. My shy girl came home buzzing with excitement from her first two classes and has been counting down the days until she gets to return. Highly recommend.
