Rubric Restaurant
Affordable, smart casual dining at Rubric Restaurant. It is open to the public for lunch and gives hospitality vocational students the chance to learn upmarket culinary skills and hospitality service standards in a live environment. Portions are generous, beautifully presented and served with a friendly smile.

Afternoon tea prepared & served by students of the William Angliss catering school - a top notch experience. Meals are served to the public towards the end of each term & if you ate fortunate enough to score a reservation- you are in for an enjoyable experience. Other than a few nerves, the students performed brilliantly & service was 5 star. The tea & food was excellent & plentiful. Terrific value for money. Reservations are required. I will be back for their lunch & dinner service!

We had a great evening. The newly trained up staff were attentive and pleasant. The food was great and extremely good value. But mostly the view into the kitchen was enlightening. All of the chef's in training looked happy and competent and the supervisor seemed to be a great guy, helping and demonstrating as required without the premadonna behaviour one expects in a kitchen.
