Mekong Cairnlea Vietnamese Aged Care

The aged services provided at Mekong are of a high quality. The residents who reside at the service are treated with dignity and respect. Staff are compassionate, caring and professional.

Newly built facility kept clean, high standards of infection control, staff are nice and compassionate, my mum is well looked after, she is quite happy to be there. I don't know why it was scored low stars in reviews.

Seems like a good aged care facility, but the thing that bothered me is the patient's privacy. They need to be reminded to maintain the patient's privacy. Came into the facility to visit my grandma and the PCA casually pulled down my grandma's pants abit to check and honestly my family was shocked when she did that infront of us. I get that you have a job to do but do remember that there are people around and the patient may be flustered when you do that around other people, which you could of waited when she walked to her room and then do that.

A very nice place to have your loved one there. The place is very clean with high standards of infection control. Staff are very caring, respectful and compassionate. My dad was there for more than 4 years and he was happy & very well looked after. I work in health care & have had great comments from ambulance staff of how clean this facility is. Anywhere my Dad went for procedures, I always get comments of how clean Mekong Cairnlea kept my dad. The last few days of my dad's life there was greatly appreciated to see how the staff treated my dad & our family with dignity & respect. We sincerely thank you for all your care. Please keep up the great work Mekong Cairnlea Staff.

Dishonest staff, when my grandma pass, her jewelry (heirloom necklace), mobile phone and cash on her was removed. Dont know how you ppl live with yourself.
