I went or high school in Rutherglen and one of my good friends worked at Fred’s original shop back in the day (90’s). I’ve been fond of Fred’s Chicken and Asparagus chicken parcel since he first sold them. It’s probably been 5 or 6 years since my last visit to Parker’s Pies, I can confirm they still taste delicious the price did make my eyes water a little bit the taste was fab so not too much of a complaint I guess.Custard donut not so good but that’s ok I can still taste that chicken parcel!Thanks

Came here on a gloomy Wednesday morning - day was instantly made. These guys have some of THE best pies we've ever had!! Big claim! The pies are full of flavour.We got the peppered steak and the Thai Chicken Green Curry pies. Both were amazing!Staff were lovely too!Would HIGHLY recommend!Plus they're pet friendly to sit outside under cover - so you can go all year round with your furry friend.

We ordered the Chunky Pie as there was not too many pies left. We arrived past lunch time around 3pm. There was no coffee either although the coffee machine was there. So we had to grab the coffee from Grace, next door. The pie tasted good. The beef was really chunky and tasty. Not bad.

2023 update.Well this had to be one of the best pie shops we came across on our recent trip . The lamb pie jumping jumbuck" was on their must have list and I was not disappointed . Large range of specialty pies. Nice eat in cafe. Perfect coffee. Definetly worth the stop. Unfortunately their sweet range has been reduced to just doughnuts. The Cafe has great atmosphere only let down by their unclean toilets. We would definitely recommend this Pie Store."

Parker Pies had been recommended to us by friends. It was a lovely day and outdoor dining was an option, however, the restaurant is located quite close to the main road. The main road is also narrow and trucks use this road as well.

Awesome pies. We always stop at Parker Pies on way down the Murray. Personal favourite is the jolly jumbuck- the best lamb pie ever. This time I loaded up with frozen pies to enjoy at home.

Last time we were here it was the before before times" (hint: pre pandemic)You really couldn't go wrong with any of their selections. Favourites has always been the signature "Parker Pies". Even their tiger prawn curry (not our usual order) was a surprise hit!Very happy that the placed is still as busy as the last time we were here. It was raining when we got there so the indoor dining area was packed.This was a worthy stopover if you are doing a Sydney/Canberra trip to/from Melbourne.Amazing staff and very kid friendly. Peak time is between 9-12. Plenty of outdoor tables if the weather permits.Come early as parking is limited. There are parking spots at the back of the adjacent pub

One of the best pie places I've been to. The pies are really flavourful and tasty. I ordered the chunky beef and it was outstanding. The beef was clearly slow cooked and what might otherwise be tough tendons part of the beef were cooked to jelly like consistency, adding to the flavour of the pie. Together with the nice pastry, it made for a great pie. I went back for seconds. My wife ordered the Thai prawn and chicken pie. It was tasty also, but I only had 1 bite. Strongly recommend it for anyone passing through.

Great pie shop in the main street. Very modern feel but still great service and friendly staff. Must try the pepper steak pie.
