Seppeltsfield Mausoleum
Bit of a steep climb but worth it for the views of the valley below. Keep an eye on the young ones (and the elderly too). The day we visited we found a number of painted rocks dotted around. I don't think they had any religious significance but it was nice thought, I guess

Nice view from the mausoleum. It’s worth a visit when you’re in the Barossa Valley.

Interesting. Built their own little piece of Greece. Must have been an extremely wealthy family.

What a cool little place to visit. On top of that, Roman soldiers were doing some type of reenactment or promotional?

It's such an iconic place with a historic background. Awesome view from the top with heaps of palm trees on the route, which makes it more pleasant to get there.

Seppeltsfield Mausoleum
I recently visited the Seppeltsfield Mausoleum in South Australia and was completely blown away by the beauty and history of this hidden gem. The mausoleum, built in the late 1800s, is the final resting place for several members of the Seppelt family and serves as a testament to their legacy. The mausoleum is located in the stunning Barossa Valley and is surrounded by acres of rolling hills and vineyards. The architecture of the building is breathtaking, with its grand columns and intricate stone work. The interior is equally impressive, with its marble flooring and stained glass windows.

Not so sure if it was entirely worth going up the steep hill... the views from the road before were much more beautiful. It was a nice stop for 5 min, no more than that.
