Breadtop Hobart

A great assortment of Chinese bakery goods. The bread is sugary and oily but tasty for a sweets in moderation. I enjoy the coconut and red bean fillings and the small cakes.

Was there yesterday to buy some matcha bun for lunch today, and to my surprise there's a plastic in one of the buns and I nearly swallowed it because it is so thin and soft. Can't imagine if a kid had been the one eating this bun. I feel really disgusted now.

I ate more than half of the ham&cheese bread. where is cheese and just a tinyyyy piece of ham？Seriously cheating.☹️

I love bread top, every time I come to Hobart I come here. I try a different cake each time, last time I got the taro sponge and damn, tast-ee! There's just something so light and delicious about Japanese baked goods. Yumm.

Tasty bun with a lot of different variety. Must try cream roll.

An incredible place! I'm so glad Breadtop came to Tasmania! They always make the most delicious food and their customer service is brilliant! Highly recommend coming here.

*Warning* This is the terrible customer service that I have ever had. I am very disappointed and maybe they don’t mind losing one of royalty customers because they still have many. They probably don’t know how poor customer service can affect the business.I always visit Breadtop when I visit Hobart, but I will not visit Breadtop ever again because of ongoing poor customer service. I chose to ignore and forgive poor customer service in the past, but not this time. I went to Breadtop this afternoon. After I paid for my bread at the counter, a very rude female cashier threw the royalty card on the counter without asking if I need one first. She appears rude and impatient to serve me. She also threw my bread into the bag after she packed my bread up individually. I cannot stress how disrespectful it was. If you were a customer, would you like to be treated in this way? I also noticed there were heavy layers of dust on the top cake display fridge when I visited last time. I definitely refuse to visit again.

Poor customer service over the phone. Made a genuine enquiry about ice cream as I noticed they had ice cream cakes. Unfortunately the girl hung up me before I finished speaking.

This is my favorite bread shop in Hobart, the buns taste so good! BTW, I like the pork floss buns best!
