The Gillies Cafe & Bar
This is our 2nd visit. The 1st was a Friday night tapas & today for lunch.Food has been very tasty. We do However find the music and duo on the loud side. So that makes it difficult to communicate with others at the table. On both occasions we’ve cut our stay short due to that. Otherwise a great time.

We came for the Friday night tapas!!Holy moly, we ordered 1.5 dishes per person and it was amazing.We had so much food but couldn’t stop eating even though everyone was over full. The dishes were full of flavour and well portioned for tapas style sharing.The live music made the atmosphere amazing and the staff were friendly and helpful.A wonderful place for a Friday night out with friends.I’m dying to grab a coffee and the daily menu looks amazing too, if it is anything like the Friday night quality you’d come here at least once a week if you lived here.

Beautiful place! The food and coffee was 5 star! The staff were super helpful to my whole family and really went above to make it a beautiful day on our way up to the falls! Loved it!

Amazing place for breakfast and lunch or just a snack. The service is outstanding and everyone is very friendly. I had the Buddha bowl with falafel and it was delicious.

The food here is fantastic! Fresh, modern and innovative! The space is great too with lots of new seating, mostly outside, and some inside options as well. Worth a visit, especially if you’re from Cairns like me and on your way to the markets.

What a great cafe! Staff only to happy to make breakfast even though breakfast was over. It was so good that my husband just had to have another breakfast from there before we left Atherton Tablelands.

What an amazing find to end our stay in the tablelands. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable, service was excellent and the food was the best we have experienced in a long time, 5 star quality. Thank you for a wonderful evening of fine dining. We can't wait to return.
