Derek and Lowina were great! I spoke to Lowina about my concerns about not really being a photogenic person or ever having had professional photos taken but she explained the photographers at Black Avenue help walk you through how to pose and where are the best places to take pictures.They replied to my emails promptly and were able to create a package that suited my needs. They helped with creating a timeline for the photos on the day which really helped.On the wedding day I had photographers Bill and Susie and they were amazing on the day. They really helped with poses, fluffing my dress and made sure to take photos of anything in particular we wanted. Both of them had a great sense of humour which helped put everyone at ease and made the experience enjoyable.We got our sneak peek within one week and all the rest of the photos within 2-3 weeks which was way faster than I expected. The pictures were great quality and I was very happy with them.They sent a beautiful personalised box with a USB of all the photos with a few printouts as well.I would highly recommend Black Avenue, they are professional, prompt and easy to talk to. The quality of their work is amazing!

We selected Black Avenue after seeing them at work at another of our friends weddings. Having interviewed many other companies who had set routine of what they do and get you to work within that, the first words Lowina said were tell me about what you are planning, what are you after, how can we help you. Ever since then they made sure we were looked after.They are always responsive via emails and calls. They are absolutely money for value!Even during covid they rebooked our day at no extra cost.On the big day we were so fortunate to have Bill, Taylor, Susie and Andy as our photographers and videographers for the day. They were so much fun really added to the experience of the day. They had been informed what we wanted and made sure everything we requested were done.We had so many laughs with them and they really added to the joy of the day. A number of guests commented about how seamless they were.We have been blown away by all the edits we have received post wedding. Black Avenue Productions were a fantastic choice for our wedding! We originally chose Derek & Lowina because they were the only photography company that we could find in our area that provided a photo album for us. We chose them and everything was super easy. We had to change our wedding date due to COVID-19, and Derek & Lowina accommodated to our new date. They were extremely responsive and easy to work with leading up to the big day. On the day they arrived and were extremely professional and easy to work with, telling us what to do and which poses to achieve the best photos. It seemed as if we had known them forever - and we just met them! They worked really well with our videographer from another company which was really pleasing. All of our guests mentioned how nice they were. We have already seen some sneak peak photos and they are absolutely amazing.We can't wait to see the rest. Black Avenue Productions has been fantastic in capturing all our beautiful moments and stolen expressions so artistically and creatively, from our pre-wedding photoshoot to our wedding day. Lowina have been wonderful to communicate and plan the shoots with whilst Derek and Iris were so easygoing and captured all our photos so discreetly that we didn't even notice they were there! The team patiently listened to our ideas and were more than accommodating towards all our requests. They also worked really well with all our vendors. They are nothing short of an amazing team to work with and we couldn't have asked for a more excellent bunch of professionals to capture our special day. I would like to thank Black Avenue production for their amazing service at my wedding last Sunday. I knew i had to get these photographers to capture the special moments of my wedding the instant I saw their work on their website. Their service was beyond excellent. From the initial contact, Lowina was warm and approachable. I had many worries and concerns which she had easily made right for me with her witty ideas. She even planned my timeline for me; without that I wouldn't have known where to start and what to do.Lowina & Derek worked like ninjas throughout the day making sure that every moment was being captured, I barely saw them sat down at any point. Even my relatives were commenting on how good their work ethics were. We had BAP Derek and the team to photograph our wedding day, and we just got the highlight reel and sneak peak photos - they were nothing short of absolute perfection and we were also really impressed by the quick turnaround time! Very professional and helpful team.Bill and Suzie did photos for our wedding last month. They have been very fun to work with.Many things didn't go to plan, such as the rain which continued for most of the day, but the team was very flexible and committed. A very good experience for us all.

We selected Black Avenue Productions after searching the Easy Weddings app and comparing them to others in the industry. Their work stood out and the variety of packages appealed to us. We selected the 12 hour package which included two photographers and two videographers.From the start Lowina made us feel very comfortable and took the time to get to know us over the phone and hear our story. She gave us ideas for photos and encouraged us to also do our research with what we may like. An indicative time line of the day was also provided, this was super helpful as we had no idea where to begin!On the day of our wedding, the team arrived to all locations as scheduled. They were all super friendly and made us feel very comfortable but most importantly, were very professional. Our family and friends had nothing but nice things to say. It was such a pleasure to work together and the team worked hard to capture everything we wanted and what they wanted from us also. They kept it fun and really fit well into our crowd. We asked for a mixture of candid and staged photos/videos and received exactly that.Our interactions before and after the wedding always exceeded our expectations. We were especially surprised with the presentation of our photo/video USB. We received this in a beautiful wooden box and the USB itself was matched in a wooden casing. The attention to detail from start to finish was incredible.The finished products blew us away!
