O'Reilly's Rainforest Retreat

Very strongly advised. The balcony (equipped with spa) was the ideal position to observe the wildlife and adorable birds all around, and the facilities were first-rate with helpful staff. The lost world spa was wonderful and peaceful, making the lengthy travel worth it when you get there.Many thanks! I'll suggest it to my colleagues!

Just a week ago, me and my husband, with our kids decided to have a vacation outside the city. We came across O’Reilly’s Rainforest Retreat. And so, we decided to give it a try since my husband is looking for a place that offers scenery that is overlooking the rainforest and mountains. I love the views, the environment and everything else about this place.Complimentary guided bird walks are offered daily and the iconic Tree Top Walk is free of charge.We enjoyed a swim in their outdoor infinity pool and relaxed in the hot tub. O'Reilly's Retreat also offers a library with a fireplace and a kid’s room. Our kids really enjoyed the stay as well.We will forever treasure our stay at O'Reilly's Retreat!!!

Great place to chill and relax with families and friends., creating unforgettable memories while immersing yourself in the beauty of nature. The view from my room is really nice. This is perfect for nature lover who enjoys the view of the trees and hills. I really enjoyed walking up to the sght of mist gently rolling off the hills, or watching the sunset behind the tress, casting a warm glow along the landscape. Will definitely gonna come and visits again!

The villa was dirty. The grout was filthy in the bathroom, there were alot of dirty marks on the walls. Tv remote didn't work, it was also very dated. The main reason we chose to stay was the tomahawk steak.... which was on the menu, to be informed they didn't have it, and after pointing at it, had the manager try to convince me it wasn't on the menu at all...? The spa on the balcony was a spa bath. There was a rip in the couch. The drive up is awful. Slow, horrible road.Service at the cafe is very slow. The menu in the restaurant is ok. The lamb cutlets I had were very undercooked....yes I understand that lamb should have pink, but not red. Paid $65 for a $35 bottle of wine....Over priced in every way.Highlights: the bar on Sunday and the bartenders were excellent.The pizza from the bar was about the only decent food we had.The day spa is excellent.It is very clean, unlike our villa.Favourite part:Check out and knowing that I will not be back.Should have gone to Pethers at Tambourine.... haven't even been offered a refund or discount. Don't stay here.

Buyer beware, not all mountain view rooms come with a mountain view as advertised. The views look great on their website but in person we were looking at the back of another unit. This should be transparent when booking. Their solution was to offer a cheaper room at the cost of the more expensive room. Just dont expect the view that is depicted on their website.

We had a pleasant stay and thoroughly liked it thanks to the hotel's excellent location and reasonable price. Without a doubt, I'll tell my friends and coworkers about this spot.Although trees blocked the view, the place was rather tranquil and had a dawn. The accommodation included a balcony where you could enjoy cocktails or coffee.

Amazing hotel located on Manila Bay great for those sunset moments. Staff anticipated your needs and were so very helpful nothing was a problem service with a smile (even behind face masks) Rooms clean and spotlessly clean. Food was tasty and very large selection. Will be back and can't recommend it enough for business or leisure trip. I had to do some work whilst here and Internet great so managed well with video calls back to UK. Felt special and well cared for throughout stay.

Staff were very friendly and the history is very interesting, but the food is truly sub-par. Pretty expensive, but the price would be justified if the food were actually good. I do not recommend breakfast. It’s $60 and basically inedible. Proper gross. Dinner was very average. Really let down our whole experience.

Beautiful place. Idea family holiday place and get away from crowds and traffics.Most of all from screens and go back to nature. Plenty of walking and activities to do. Food is very expansive but I bought full package which was included all the menu and highly recommend doing so. Should stay least 2 nights as so much to do much to see!!! Great for people who is just had enough of Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast luxury hotels and have absolutely different holiday!!!
