Very disappointedMy car was left unlocked on the side of the road.The spare tire was not secured.Dirty boots all in my car.The car was sprayed with water and not dried and know has water marks every where.There was paint on my brake light.The bumper black panel was scratch and the rear internal light was not there, it was chucked in the boot.There was a washer and nut missing from the left hand side rear wheel guard.I would suggest if you have to go here have,some who is a mechanic to check it over.

I had a windscreen that was cracked and needed replacing. The rust which had developed behind the screen meant it would need to be cut back, re-patched and repaired first. The workmanship was mint, and the price was great. Highly recommended!

I was referred by RAC to them as an authorised repairer. The lady there was condescending when I asked for an insurance quote …I had minor cosmetic damage on my car, so I asked so that I would know my options to go with the excess or private for a quote. I was refused this simple request. Was told they only do insurance work and don’t bother with private as they have “plenty of work”. They didn’t bother looking at the car until I gave them an insurance reference number. When I gave them the insurance number they took pictures of the car without speaking to me , then a day later started calling me incessantly to daily to bring my car in the next Monday … when I raised some concerns about my experience and asked an insurance quote again they didn’t bother responding to my email… then I saw the 1 star reviews on google . My conclusion: All they care about is insurance dollars , they are not helpful and are not kind, and have no customer service skills. I will definitely get my car fixed elsewhere . They won’t see a cent from me .

Picked up my car today after repairs. Very nice work on the body panel and fast turnaround time as well. Only 4 stars as the inside of my car has dirt/dust everywhere.

Given that they have no official website or presence on social media to showcase their work I was a bit concerned when my insurance company told me they had selected Frank Newman over my preferred repairer to fix my beloved Nissan Silvia after an accident. Needless to say the two other negative reviews on Google did not inspire confidence..That said, my mind was eventually put at ease by the quality of work performed. The paint (a rather complex pearlescent blue) was perfectly matched and blended. The front bumper and bonnet alignment is spot on, especially for an aftermarket front bar.Customer service in general was also excellent. Was always kept in the loop and no question went unanswered.My only gripe is when replacing my front REO bar the flasher relay for my LED indicators came loose and I was not informed that this was left disconnected, sitting in my engine bay. An easy fix for a non-standard accessory though.Cannot comment on price as insurance paid up but would not hesitate to return for future work or recommend to friends.

My husband had a prang in our work ute. Our insurance recommended them as their preferred repairer.From the moment us dropping it off we knew we were in good hands. Kept us up to date with the process.Hopefully I won't need to use them again, but if I do I wouldn't hesitate to.Now my ute looks almost brand new.Highly recommend if you are in an unfortunate situation like us.

Had a terrible experience with them when my VW Jetta was rear ended - had poor fitment of my rear bumper. Rear parking sensors was not fitted correctly. 1 year after the accident the paint on the bumper started to peel and also further to that the boot lining clips all broke.If you can do not take your car their to get them repair it unless you don't care about it

Frank Newman Smash Repairs were absolutely brilliant to deal with. Very professional, warm and welcoming. They were my insurers preferred repairers for good reason, and I will definitely go back to them in the future. They did a fantastic job on repairing my car and made it look shiny and new. The repairs & Paint work was amazing they go it spot on. Would highly recommend them. Thanks heaps again guys.
