Bit pricey for what you get. The food was good, but the value wasn’t. The meals came out separately and the first person served was finished before the last meal came out. Salt and pepper squid wasn’t what I was expecting. I’d say there would be better options in Glenelg.

We were treated very rudely by the owner. He was abrupt and unprofessional. However, he was polite to his regular customers. Food was average. He was drinking alcohol in sight of customers while serving behind the bar. This was a contravention of RSA guidelines. A unique experience.

Incredibly disappointed. It took ages for them to take our order, and when the food came, the serving size was equivalent to a kid’s meal. We ordered Lemon Chicken and Sweet and Sour Pork - costing about $19-25 each. The taste was also not the best! We waited ages and was served horrible food for a high price. We were still hungry so we drove to McDonald’s Camden Park.Probably the worst Chinese Restaurant we’ve ever been to.

Would highly recommend this restaurant. We had the banquet, all dishes were amazing, great flavour and generous serving. Service was excellent, staff always smiling, and helpful.

Disappointed with the service.Food has no wow factor. Soup was just okay. Asparagus was so microscopically tiny that you need a magnifying glass to see them.Prawn dish was just too basic. I imagined that the dish would at least serve with shitake mushrooms but no it was just an ordinary button mushrooms. There was no baby corns instead it was zucchini. Yes, zucchini in an asian dish! How upsetting for a $25 dish.Crispy chicken should not be called ‘crispy’ instead it should called solid DRIED chicken. Skin is not even crispy and portion is just NOT worth its price!The winner for me is Black Bean Pork. But they could have at least cook it with capsicums, onions and chinese celery.Paid $93 with 3 serves of rice. Not happy and I don’t think this place is worth dining in. Good atmosphere though, hence the 2 stars.

Went there for a 38th birthday party. The food was nice, and the staff was nice, but the restaurant owner was arrogant and trying to hurry us along to try and get to eat our food and get us out the door for the next lot of custom. His customer service skills are not great he was rude and arrogant, and this is NOT the way to treat your customers. This is how he loses customers through his sheer arrogance and rudness. No separate accounts. You have to pay all at once. That's going to work out too expensive. Be prepared for lots of money if you eat here.

Wow! Such a delicious meal - one of the best we have had in Adelaide. Service was great and fast. The food was mouthwatering. Great quality food but smallish dish sizes for the price. This won't stop us coming back though as it was divinely delicious. Bonus was free parking right next door.

We ordered takeaway, with no veg which cost extra normally. Was very disappointed to find both dishes were bulked up with lots of onion, which my partner hates onion.The satay chicken wasn’t really satay, no sauce like other restaurants, resembled southern country style chicken with no satay flavour.Never return to eat again.

Been to Lim's a fair few times over the years since 1986. First time in a few years but still the remembered experienceBig thanks to hospitable smiling staff we enjoyed having serve us. Welcomed and accommodated when one of our number couldn't have most of the items in the banquet, they offered a very satisfactory alternative so we got to have our banquet with a separate dish substituted so everyone was satisfied. Worth the travel. Thank you!
