Knows what she's talking about, but could really use lessons in customer service. Took my 'cheap' machine in there for advice/repairs and it was like I offended her with me/it's presence! I won't be going back there for purchase or repairs.

Thank you to the lovely lady working at Ballarat on Saturday 13/3/21. I was struggling to find patterns on the B hoop of a Janome 300e. She told me what to do. I came home and gave it a go. Its not perfect but I learnt how to fix my tension so that the tread from the bobbin did not show on the top. How to go backwards if my thread broke. How to change the thread on the bobbin half way through. Thank you so much for your help.

Be wary of this business. Avoid them. Dropped machine off for repair. Advised cost to repair, which I approved. After 4 weeks rang for update, Waiting on parts". This went on for another 6 weeks. It was always me ringing them. Told them not to bother with repair. Still waiting for machine to be returned 4 weeks later. Still no contact from them. Dreadful customer service."

I had spoke to the main owner, I think from Coburg and he dropped a machine all the way out for me to look at the Ballarat shop. He offered a deal and was very helpful. However the lady at the shop was very rude. She tried selling me the machine at above advertised price and didn't want to honor the deal... she even started writing up the invoice to try to pressure me to agree. Honestly hugely disappointed that a local business did this. Have nothing nice to say about her service. I left feeling incredibly stressed and disappointed I was treated like that.
