Matilda's Flowers

Appalling service!! Will never go back again!! I was choosing flowers for my 50th Birthday and had a few bunches in my hands. Accidentally put a bunch back into the wrong bucket and the woman that appeared to be in charge grabbed the bunch of flowers, berated me for putting them in the wrong bucket and told me that I was in the way of other customers. I went to pay for 3 bunches of flowers I'd chosen and mentioned that I felt her comment was rather rude and she had a massive go at me, told me I'd put her flowers in the wrong bucket, and that I couldn't stand there for an hour (it was a few minutes) and then prattled on about how much her customers loved her. Then she started yelling at me that she has to get up at 2am in the morning like it was my fault. When she asked me if my flowers were for Mothers Day and I said they were for my 50th Bday, she grabbed them roughly, wrapped them in brown paper and asked me for money. A horrible experience, wouldn't recommend.

This florist never disappoints. Lovely helpful staff, great range and actually affordable. I placed a phone order back in lockdown and requested something they didn’t have in their online shop, so I wasn’t entirely sure what it would look like because I didn’t have a visual. Matilda’s delivered the goods though and I was blown away with how good they looked. My go-to place for special birthday flowers.

I have ordered flowers twice now from here and they've been beautiful and perfect!I have also had to call up with special delivery instructions because the recipient was an essential worker so the timing has been a bit strange and every single time everyone at Matilda's has been SO KIND, SO GENEROUS and gone above and beyond to get the perfect bunch to my friend - even hand delivering themselves when I missed a courier cut off.I will buy from here every single time I need flowers from now on.
