Mount Alexandra Lookout
We went with a small tour group and enjoyed every minute. The guide was very informative and took us all over the place. We even saw Cassawary and a baby.

A lovely lookout off Cape Tribulation Road. We stopped on our way to Cape Tribulation from Port Douglas. We stopped pretty early in the morning.(around 9:30am) & the view was beautiful! There was still haze in the distance over the land, which if it wasn't there, the view would have been more amazing. Nonetheless, still beautiful! It's pretty cool that you can see Port Douglas in the distance! Lots of people come in waves, park, take photos & head off. Parking spots are in lined/marked bays. Worth the stop to see the view =)

Pretty lookout on the way to Cape Tribulation, easy to park, no amenities, short break if you need one but if you miss it, you don't miss too much.

One of the first stops after disembarking the ferry, Alexandra Lookout offers some truly magical views of the rainforest and mouth of the river and surrounding coastline.This is one of those places where the view changes with the weather and amount of sunshine which makes it all the more beautiful with ever-changing scenery.The carpark is large enough for a number of vehicles however the lookout itself is quite small and when a tour bus turns up it can be quite a challenge to grab a photo, thankfully they are on a tight time schedule and move on relatively quickly.
