Peter, Paul, Toby, Sam and team were wonderful to work with to farewell my father. Toscan Dinn (especially Peter) were fantastic in a very stressful time. Peter's manner is calming and professional, understanding but not interfering. He never pressured us to go one way or another with anything, never pushing for the up-sell, just providing options and guiding us through them. He and the staff were always generous and friendly, and it was the least painful way a horrible situation could've gone. I can really recommend them as a truly independent, understanding company who made a bad time a lot easier.

They were thoughtful in their language, considerate and obliging to all requests and explained options clearly with tact, never forgetting the reason why we were there. We are extremely grateful to Dimitri and the team for their care during this difficult time.

I was blown away with Toscan Dinn funerals. When my grandmother passed in a nursing home, I thought she would be taken out in at best a white sheet. But when Toscan Dinn picked her up, they covered her with a beautiful red velvety fabric. It was raining, and they refused to wheel her through it even for a metre to get to the vehicle, so they moved it. Once in, they put a rose on top of the fabric. This is just to take her to their place of business to prepare her body! This kind of service & respect continued right the way through the process & the funeral. Even just 2 hours before the service I called to ask if I could add something to the table that would greet attendees of the funeral. Our service director (I can't remember her name, younger lady w brown hair) made themselves available to take my call and assured me it was not a problem. It's been just over a year and I'm still so chuffed at how well they treated my Nonna. Thank you so much for leaving us with a good memory.

At my Nan's funeral yesterday the fellows from Toscan Dinn floundered when they were supposed to open the file with the presentation of scenes from Nan's life, managed then to play some sort of loud sound from their computer during the minute's silence we were observing in her memory and then failed to play music as Nan's coffin was taken away from the ceremony. The day before the funeral they didn't bother to return Mum's call confirming the details of the ceremony. They were otherwise perfectly respectable, but if you want the sort of basic AV - pictures and music - that typically accompanies the farewell to a loved one in the 21st century to be run without a hitch, or if you expect a modicum of customer service while you are grieving, you might be better off considering another company.

I was most impressed with the help and care shown leading up to and during my mums service. Steven was so kind are caring and did a wonderful job reading out mum's eulogy. I would highly recommend Toscan Dinn Funerals.
