I can't recommend Evans Testa Barristers & Solicitors enough should you ever find yourself in a position of needing a lawyer for your own circumstance.Lauraine is phenomenal in the way she handles herself - from explaining the situation objectively from multiple perspectives, to detailing potential outcomes and various options/roads available, to simply listening to 'your side' and taking on-board your point of view. Lauraine is supremely knowledgeable in several areas of law and is never condescending; I found her very easy and reassuring to deal even during 'honest moments' and during 'realistic outcome' conversations.The staff are approachable and professional and were able to answer any questions I put to them.I hope to never need a personal lawyer again in my life time, but should I ever need one, I'll be calling Evans Testa. I simply can't praise their efforts enough.Thank you!

If I could give minus starts I would, my advise to others looking for a barrister & solicitor is keep away from this bunch. They are a quick get rich company. Mr. Phil Evens got myself to come in for a appointment after talking on the phone for a few seconds as he was to busy and does not genuinely care. During my appointment Phil then tells me how he would tackle the situation at hand and would draft up in a letter, came to find the next day I received a email with a draft letter from Phil and it contained everything that he advised me the day before he did not want to put in??????????? I then called to question the letter as I was very confused to then be convinced why he did wrote it. Hmmmmmm HUGE MISTAKE. Anyway I received a reply form the other party which put me in a worse situation and did not address the situation, this letter was a total waste of time and money and very over priced. I then started searching for a experienced barristers & solicitor and found one that actually listened and genuinely cared, not to mention was Well and fairly priced I then confronted Phil and he turns around and says well you agreed to it, there was nothing in writing stating I did. I asked for a partial refund which was fair considering he did not do what he is schooled to do other then try and take money by misleading me. Phil told me he would get back to me to finalise this issues I had brought up. Two months later after leaving several phone messages and emails, nothing. No response and no reply. This just shows how unprofessional Phil is by ignoring and not genuinely caring about his job. All I can say Phil is Karma, you want to take advantage of people when they are vulnerable, take there money and mislead them..??? This is not overTo potential other clients out there if you believe you have been treated unfairly or mislead in anyway you have the right to contact Legal Services Commission and make a Complaint in writing. Stay away from Et Even Testa because Phil might threaten you by telling his partner was a former police officer.
