The person running the store was fine, no complaints.You’ll notice all the 1 star reviews below have also only ever left one review, one negative review for this particular store. It’s clear it’s the same person leaving numerous 1 star negative reviews.I’d be extremely careful if I was that person, Defamation laws in Australia have changed, it now includes actively smearing someone’s business reputation via reviews or online in general. My last client won 180k for being victim to this exact same behaviour.Google will hand over your IP address/ GPS location immediately with a subpoena via the courts. Don’t be a fool.MERRY CHRISTMAS.

I go here to see what’s available. I’ve honestly never purchased anything because I find it overpriced. There was a nice sewing machine but wouldn’t negotiate the price. I’m ok with that, it’s a business but it doesn’t hurt to ask and they are generally used goods anyway so there wasn’t a warranty with it.

Poor service & overly priced. Had item on lay by only to find out they sold it on me. No one notified me asked if I still wanted it. Consumer affairs told me if I was notified I said no one. I called Saturday informed them was going to call in following Saturday to make final payment. Was told item sold.Consume Affairs said I was entitled to FULL refund. They refunded my money.

Went in today for the first time today, and the last time. Everything was over priced, the person who served me was rude and I had to ask for a receipt (I thought this was common practice in retail incase the product is faulty).

I’ve had bad experiences with this store before, but I still frequent it because they get some good music in. I travelled two hours to Melton specially to come here, the guy opened the store a full half hour later than the opening time that it said on the store window AND the website. The guy walked in the store shouting at his friend on the phone and continued to do so even with customers in the store. He charged me $8 for a super common Whitney Houston greatest hits cd, which case was broken and actively scratching the second disk, I asked if I could change it the case (I’m paying four times more than I would be at Vinnies) and he laughed and said “can’t help ya”. Me, my father and my friend that have been to the store all noted the rudeness of the owner, it seems to be a consistent thing. The 7” vinyl records are scratched, beaten up and half the time have chunks missing out of them, and there is just no thought or care put into the vinyl or cd storing whatsoever. The store is super cramped and many items for sale are borderline impossible to access. But, even with all that, the store does get some really cool stuff in and the prices usually aren’t totally outrageous. So, I would recommend the store if you’re willing to put up with laziness, dirtiness and rudeness in order to find some rare collectables

Calling some one Curry Muncher" is not cricket talk. Owner of the shop was Racially abusive. Very unpleasant experience. Will never go back.Non sense reply... You were just abusive and i chose not to buy as it was a kids size 6 bat. Misleading ad aswell.Wise people will stay away."

I’ve been going to A1 for over 10 years now, picked up so many great buys which I still have in my home even now, gees it’s been that long!Gary is a great store owner, he does get quite busy with buying and selling but hey, he’s a 1 man band so that’s to be expected. Just be like me, go annoy him and grab his attention because he’s always more than happy to help you find what you’re interested in and what you need or like, he’s super friendly like that.Thanks Gary

A1 is reliable and punctual and also gives Fair Price for great secondhand products and very friendly service....

Drove from far away says online they open at 12pm but the guy didn't show up till 2pm had to fill in time looking at other shops. Won't be going back
