Fifi's Take Away
If you want real old fashioned take away service and great Australian take way food this is the place. We had coffee, burgers and chips for two and just loved it sat outside on high street. Sorry I forgot to mention it's also bargain

Ordered here twice and had 2 very different experiences. First time was fantastic, deliciol us and fresh. Ordered 3 things today and every single thing had something wrong with it. Burger was missing ingredients, chips were undercooked and I got chicken nuggets when I ordered chicken chips. Hit and miss, unsure if I would give them another chance because like I said the first time was fantastic.

Lovely service and lovelier food. As a student I was very appreciative that they didn't mind me setting up and doing homework for a few hours after school. And of course, must recommend the hot chips, they've got a new supplier and they're 10/10

If I could give this place 0 I would. The way the manager talks to her staff is disgusting well I think it was the manager as she stood around doing nothing. The food was terrible. They don’t use use by dates as I asked how old the chicken was and they couldn’t give me an answer. I didn’t even get charged for what I ordered as they didn’t have it in the system. Avoid this place

Can not recommend this place enough, the owner went above and beyond today. After placing an order with DoorDash, the delivery driver was late to pick up my order and due to him not being on time they had to make it again. Unfortunately, the driver was still not there to pick it up, by the time he collected the order and delivered it to me the order was cold again. I rang to store and the owner explained the situation with DoorDash, remade the order and personally delivered to me fresh. Will be recommending to friends and family, and thank you again for your excellent customer service! Very happy

Lovely place, lovely staff-- they never skimp out on the chicken salt! I come here often post-HSC exam because their food is that sort of comfort grub you need after an exhausting test. The atmosphere is lovely, the options of food are diverse, and the staff are always friendly. One of the, if not the best takeaway shop in maitland.

I’ve only recently become a customer at FiFi’s Takeaway. I have met both staff/cooks and been treated like a human being. If not flat out they take the time to get to know their customers and as soon as you enter the shop you are greeted with kindness and welcome comfort. Great friendly old school fish n chip service that we very rarely find these days. The food is tasty, smells great and cooked to the best quality with the integrity that all people should receive every where they choose to buy their food or do any type of shopping. With real down to earth normal person to person interaction and not technology. My favourite takeaway place as of now!

The burgers were absolutely top notch, and the service was a much needed delight after a long day of travel. This was nearly two months ago, and our son is still talking about how nice the lady behind the counter was.

My partner and I placed an order at 5.30pm as all websites stated that fifi’s was open, and the order was confirmed. 6.13pm we received notification that our order had been cancelled. This is beyond unacceptable as we had every impression that the shop was open and that our order was confirmed. We have children to feed. I will never return to this takeaway restaurant again. The last time I ordered here the food was undercooked and horrible and so we figured we would try again.Highly DO NOT RECOMMEND.
