Star Car Wash - Thornleigh

I have premises close by StarWash Thornleigh and when passing recently I noticed that they offered a Seniors discount on Tuesdays.I decided to take up the offer. I had equipment inside the car and was short on time so opted for the external Express Wash. This was clearly advertised as $35 for an SUV. I told the operator what I wanted and was told that the price would be $55 as the car was ‘extra dirty’. It was dirty, which was why I wanted it washed. I agreed but mentioned that I was eligible for the Senior’s offer. I was told that the discount only applied to the full wash including cleaning the interior. This is not mentioned on any of the signage. I have taken a photo to support what is clearly false advertising.I agree with another review which mentioned that they are clearly scamming people. They deserve this negative review and I’m happy that I got back in my car and left, never to return.

Picked up work Ute from a former employee I was obviously very upset about the condition of a one year old vehicle. When I picked it up after the detail my Easter vastly improved. The guys at Starwash Thornleigh did a fantastic job and the finished product exceeded my expectations.

Recently bought a black Tesla MY. After a lot of 'pro-con' research, I decided to get cermaic coating done on the car. Singla at this car wash was an absolute legend. The guy knew every detail about the why, how and what of ceramic coating. Explained it with a demo which gave me a lot of confidence. He did an anwesome job - and the difference it made was instant. Highly recommeded!!

Price on sign was $95 for deluxe wash, waited till after wash to tell me there was a price increase to $115, what a scam. Instead of a thorough clean of wheels and wheel well they just spray that tyre shine over it all. Spent 20 min cleaning it all up at home. Should of just washed it myself.

The car wash and polish and interior detail I just paid $210 for was no better than a $30 car wash.The car still had marks on it even though they told me it had been clay barred and polished and there was definitely no polish on the paint as it felt dry and harsh unlike any polish applied which would make the paint feel smooth after application.Half of the wheels were dirty like they thought if they couldn't see it while they had a hose in their hand it's not there. As soon as the wheel rotates its almost embarrassing the way the wheels look now and didn't even bother to do the wheel wells properly. It looks like they pressure washed the bottom half and just sprayed silicon to make it look shiny.Then to top it off they sprayed silicon spray all around the foot controls of the vehicle making them slippery and dangerous to drive!!!!!The attention to detail inside was poor to say the least and looks patchy at bestVery poor and I would definitely never go back...

I have a 2021 Hilux Ute that needed a exterior and interior wash. Only 1 year old car never been off roaded, i would say its in a dirt and dusty condition. The bloke said it needed a $220 detailing otherwise it wont get cleaned, i repeated myself wanting the regular wash which was supposedly $70. He said it won’t get cleaned in regular wash and insisted a $220 detailing, then said he is wasting time and not making money if regular washing this condition for $70. I didnt argue and went straight to Hornsby westfield star wash, they had no problem at all and started the job with regular wash outside and inside and offered me detailing interior and washing for $120! I would not recommend Thornleigh star car wash unless you wanna leave your car to someone who smacks prices on you.

$70 and 15 mins to get my car washed, vacuumed and interior wiped. You would expect to have a clean car for this amount. The boot wasn't vacuumed, the rubbish in the cup holders was not emptied. I came home and had dirty water streaks down the side of my white car. This is not the first time this has happened. Do NOT recommend

$350 and my car is soaked inside, is toxic, my eyes water from whant every they sprayed in it, still trying to dry floor matts out, when I picked up the car all my personnel belongings were on the ground near the fence the guy just grab it and handed it too me,Don't use this lot ............ever. I will be callin it on Saturday- see what they do.?

Aside from the brilliant job they do – have a look at the pics of my car – they are exceptionally professional, competitive and friendly. Jitenda is also engaging and highly knowledgable about every aspect of vehicles. AAA+
