Edwin has been repairing and replacing our computers, printers etc for many years. We have always had excellent service from him. He responds quickly and is very easy to deal with. I would recommend NetSense Computers unreservedly.

We were incredibly disappointed with the quality of Edwin’s customer service and the quality of his computer repair. My name is Monty Badami and I am a local community member who prefers to choose local services. My 14 year old son wanted to get his gaming computer fixed locally and chose NetSense Computers. We asked Edwin to tell us the full costs of parts and labour before proceeding when we dropped the computer off. We did not want to be met by any surprises.Edwin was communicating with our son and stated the cost of the parts, and whilst he said that labour was not included, he did not disclose the cost of labour until just before we came to pick up the computer. This came via a separate email that was not addressed from him, so my son did not see it. Either way, it arrived literally as we were driving to collect the computer.Edwin had replaced the motherboard and also wanted to replace the graphics card. The graphics card he chose was not suitable for gaming and was quite expensive for what it did (my son researched this and did not want to replace the graphics card with an inferior option). As such, my son agreed to pay for the motherboard but source his own graphics card. It was clear that Edwin did not have expertise in gaming computer needs or technologies.Based upon the emails he received, my son was expecting to pay $169 (obviously he hadn’t registered that labour was additional), but when we arrived, he was told he needed to pay an additional $240 in labour. My son was heart broken as he was paying for this out of his own money. In trying to help my son understand the situation I looked at the emails to try and help him to understand the importance of reading all the information, as we believe that he has to do things for himself and learn the lessons through doing them. Unfortunately he learned some other lessons in the process.I went through the emails and I actually felt that there was a break down in communications between Edwin and my son and that the labour costs were also quite high for what he did. I tried to talk to Edwin about this, but he got a bit aggressive and dismissive. He refused to accept that there could be any misunderstanding and refused to discuss the issue. Not feeling comfortable with this behaviour and not wanting to make a scene in front of my son, I did not want to just pay the money as I felt there was a bit of pressure to do so, and I was not happy with the service. He was clearly not going to give us our computer back. I actually had to back down and be deferential as he refused to be open to mature discussion about this miscommunication. My Wife decided to return to get the computer and paid the money, but she also got the sense that Edwin was taking advantage of the fact that he has a monopoly on computer repairs in the area. And to be honest, the quality of customer service didn't warrant such a high price, and neither did the quality of the repair. My son replaced the graphics card and still could not get the computer to work. Not only that, but the rear metal guard that Edwin had installed showed poor workmanship and was not fitted correctly. Many of the cables were not connected and he claimed that he could not test the motherboard without the graphics card installed. We have since found out that this is not the case.My wife tried to communicate with Edwin, but he was again displacing responsibility and we were not comfortable taking the computer back to him to charge more of his exorbitant rates to fix this.We instead took the computer to Albion park, to someone who actually understands gaming computers and provided much better customer service and did it all for $80.My son learned some very valuable lessons, and so did we. The biggest lesson we learned was to never go to NetSense Computers ever again.

Edwin is a lovely fellow! Very understanding when it comes to people worried about their computers. Explains things in a way that people who aren't tech savy can understand. Fixed my laptop after it got stuck in safe mode and I couldn't get into it...uninstalled the problem and install a new virus scanner/protection for me at the same time.Had the computer over night and it was ready the next day before the afternoon. Fee was very reasonable. Would recommend him and would use him again.
