Did not want to make this review however, we ordered the chicken thighs and it was raw. After we sent it back to staff…it was still raw!! Not sure how you mess up chicken when that’s the main thing you’re selling…Really nice staff and decor but super disappointing.

If you’re looking for a tasty lunch in Kelvin Grove, look no further than Southern Soul. The friendly staff cook the chicken fresh for every order, and the food is outstanding quality. I would recommend the classic chicken burger and the korean thighs, will definitely be making this place a regular lunch spot :)

Freshly cooked chicken everytime. Had the buffalo wings and southern thighs. The thigh batter was just right and the chicken was tender and juicy. I recommend the mustard maple sauce. We are always greeted by friendly places. Owner very hands on and looked after customers. Happy to support hard working people offering great products.

Decent food, better in store as they don’t seem to care about delivery orders, owner claims drivers take 4-5 orders at once and he doesn’t care how the food arrives as even if we are refunded they don’t lose money. Really horrible customer service and the burgers are decent but really overpriced for what you get (delivery is also minimum of 1.5 hours and sometimes you don’t even get what you ordered - so it keeps you on your toes lol)Owner is really rude though spent 10 minutes telling me he dosent care about deliveries his priority is instore, I believe restaurants like that should stay off DoorDash/ Uber eats etc

Ordered on uber eats . Was expecting more food for how much I spent. $17 on the smallest wings I have ever seen , $16 on 5 nuggets and the loaded waffle fries were normal fries ( I understand there has been a potato shortage so I don't blame them if that's all they could get) $16 for only 2/3 full box . The food was average in taste as well.

My family and I have eaten here twice are both times have been great. The loaded fries and fantastic, and I had the Gangnam burger just great. The owner made sure we enjoyed our nice meal. My 2 boys who are fussy eaters loved it. Highly recommended.

dined in on a Tuesday night, place was empty but seemed like a decent amount of takeaway orders. We sat and ordered via the app (making sure to specify we were dining in). 40 min later we were still waiting. The entire time there was an employee just sitting on his phone doing nothing. We went up to the counter to find our orders sitting in some bags that had been on the counter for 20 min. Our order number was never yelled out, we had no way of knowing it was ready. The food we got (by this time lukewarm) was average, chicken was bland, but good range of sauces saved it. 'krunchy' chips were soggy and bland too. Waffle fries were pretty good. overall just a frustrating experience really
