Tara is fantastic. If you’re worried about trusting your curls with someone, Tara is the person for you. She embraces big hair, she will make you love the frizz (you can’t escape it my curly friends, stop trying!) and she will offer you a whiskey. More than anyone could expect from a haircut. The shape is fantastic and I looked great from the second I walked out.

I was introduce to Mousey Browne via Instagram. Today, I can say that I do not regret trusting Tara with my hair. She listen carefully to what I wanted and did a fantastic job- I've received dozen of compliments on my big chop (and they keep on coming)!As a bonus my hair was donated as the salon is part of a sustainable network that uses hair for wigs :).I will be back!

I just had a feeling about Tara and her Instagram. I don't have curly hair (worst luck). I get a haircut about once every couple of years. I have no idea how it should look. Tara listened to my vagueness and gave me the perfect shaggy haircut with layers which is still perfect after several weeks. Great space, great music, great whiskey (at 11:30!) and a really great appearance by Uncle Michael. She's wonderful and I'll be getting a haircut a bit sooner than later

Mousey Browne is a treasure if you have curly hair. I got the best hair cut of my life there and I'm not going to go anywhere else from now on.I loved how she managed to adapt the hair cut I wanted to my particular kind of hair/curls and I got a lot of compliments on it afterwards.She also has great products for curl hydration (most of them vegan which is a great plus). If you want a hair cut with character this is the place to go! (the lady before me had straight hair and her chin-level cut made her look gorgeous).

Really great first time experience. Tara helped talk through options for changing my hairstyle - the cut was then just what I wanted and I am completely in love with my new hair :)

Today a lovely sista gave me THE cut! My hair is the happiest!! Definitely Tara speaks curly and gave a lovely shape to my hair that fits the shape of my face!!!. Loooooooove it! She’ll definitely give you some tips how to enhance your curls. Kudos to you T!! Highly recommended!!

If I could give Tara 6 stars I would. Not only do I now sport the haircut of my life BUT I feel like I've found a stylist with an amazing hair philosophy. Having cut my own hair for more than half my life out of fear of setting foot into a conventional salon due to comments like have you ever thought about chemical straightening?" " wow your hair is soooo dry" " this is the ONLY product that will tame your hair- it's $400" - I am not one to entrust my hair easily. Tara's vibe is all about EMBRACING and CELEBRATING natural hair texture

I booked in to see Tara for a first haircut a couple of months ago and I’m still loving it! It’s the first hair cut that has given me lots of shape with minimal effort. She was super knowledgeable and gave me lots of tips on how to care and style my hair. Will definitely be returning, thanks Tara!
