Very friendly staff and great service

Sign on the door said back at 3:00pm waited until 3:30pm still closed. Would appreciate if they could be back at the correct time.

In all fairness I have had some good experiences at this store when I purchased luggage to travel overseas with. However, on Saturday (yesterday) I went to return a hand held scale. The returns policy stipulates on the receipt that change of mind or faulty items can be refunded up to 30 days after purchase. The scale I bought the day I was flying out to Europe. I used the scale once and it was not calibrated properly and giving inaccurate readings. As I was leaving only hours after my purchase I packed it up and left it on the kitchen table till I returned 3.5 weeks later. I went to Booval store as it is my closest store (I purchased at Springfield store) and the sales person claimed I had used the product and she cannot return scales anyway, she was accusatory, rude and very impatient. Strandbags if you don't trust your customers don't accept any returns! There is no exclusionary clause in the returns policy printed on the receipt, there was no mention of this at purchase, I feel that Strandbags Booval have acted in breach of the Australian Consumer Law Act as well as their returns policy and I will be taking this up with head office. Very poor performance and no customer service!

OMG what a breath of fresh air to finally have a new manager. I was in there this morning and she was extremely helpful (sorry I never got her name) She went above and beyond showing me different bags when I was sooo indecisive. The store is very clean, fresh and well organised. Great job to the manager and Strandbags to finally bring in some fresh talent. Will be a regular shopper and spreading the word.
